the common sense party?
Trump - Make America Great Party
Honestly while I hate Trump, I think that would be a good thing. It's ridiculous to try to fit 320 million Americans into TWO parties. It just forces everyone into a cookie cutter platform that doesn't work for most of its constituents. We should be working on setting up a parliamentary-style system where smaller parties can get proportional representation once they get over an arbitrary threshold (say 5% like Germany).
Look at how dynamically different the candidates running are, one possibility:
Sanders - New Liberal Party
Clinton - Democratic Party
Rubio - Republican Party
Cruz - Tea Party
Trump - Make America Great Party
Johnson - Libertarian Party
Stein - Green Party
Parties will rise and fall with changing sentiment and management. Parties would have to form coalitions on issues to get anything done, forcing compromise. More options is always a good thing for democracy.
More like Trump Makes American Great Party or Trump Makes Trump a Great Trump American Party.. or just Trump Trump Trump!
I think it is almost inevitable. Trump wants to put his brand on everything...essentially to own everything by name.
Not sure what he will call the new party (obviously the Trump Party does not work)...but it will be something that distinguishes it as a Trump creation.
If he is the nominee and wins...it will be a miracle, because the establishment obviously does not want to win with him...and probably cannot win without him. His revenge for having opposed him will be to destroy the party from within...and replace it with whatever he dreams up.
If he is the nominee and loses...he will place the blame on the party and take his supporters (and a lot of disaffected Democrats and Independents) into a new party of his makings.
If he is NOT the nominee...Hell's fury will rain down on the Republican Party like a monsoon on Formosa. He will tear the party asunder from without. (Think Samuel L. Jackson speaking, "And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.)
What you are watching here, folks, is a political party committing Seppuku with media coverage.
We've all lived through amazing things with the technical revolution of the last two decades...but my guess is if asked on a death bed for the most amazing, most of us will offer memories of the election of 2016 as the winner.
So you forsee a period of Republicans, Democrats and Trumpites?
As I have said several times already, I think if Trump decides to create a new party...it will be to REPLACE the Republican Party...not to contend with it.
As for a name...still have no idea, but I would bet it has the flavor of Trump to it.

Definitely one of the dangers of allowing Trump that much power.
Obviously this is working out better than his fondest dreams.

I read the terms "Trumpoids" and "Trumpophrenia" this morning.
