As more people are out of work and the cost of goods and services keep going up, Trump's entire plan of attack: lie about the economy; hold lavish parties at the newly gold plated White Palace (it's no longer the People's house, it's being remade into something a fat gaudy king would live in).

Consider:

-As folks are out of work, Trump will lie about the economy. His new BLS sycophant will tell us how great everything is, how there are both a ton of jobs out there, with super low unemployment.
-As folks are out of work and find out a lot of social safety nets are not there, Trump will tout the prosperity "all of us" are enjoying thanks to his tariffs.
-As folks are out of work, Trump will hold lavish gaudy parties at his new 200m ball room that of course we will find out taxpayer funds went towards.

These are the optics that Republicans won't be able to control or explain away, My guess is they'll go "above it all" and flippant. Which would be on brand.

Trump's just living by his motto: "I Don't Care"

It's going to be pretty stark. His instincts will be to massively lie, and telling Americans who are out of work how great things are is going to be a disaster.

Trump thinking
All those farm jobs will be open.

So all the unemployed can go do farm work traveling across the US to work on farms, kids can travel with the parents, no need for school just read the Bible. It

This is all good news for the midterms and next election which I think the public will demand even if tRump is more efficient at his 2nd coup attempt. However, if there aren't candidates from either party with a modicum of sanity and morals, then all might be lost.

Trump already told us he thinks black people should be out there working the fields.
