This thread shouldn't be necessary.

However, there seem to be those trying to mislead the American voters.

Trump WILL NOT have the ACA repealed, without protecting Americans with pre-existing conditions in whichever new plan passes Congress. An executive order has given Azar oversight of this process.

Here is a clip from a rally in Goodyear, AZ.

The problem, ReubenSherr, is that I don't trust a thing he says.

In fact, if he says something isn't so, that makes me even more worried that it IS so.

Trump let 250,000 Americans die, infecting many of them himself.

Do you trust Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio? Or Azar?

I know this sounds cynical, but big insurance makes big political contributions. so even if Trump really doesn't want to eliminate pre-existing conditions, sending out such a dig whistle will probably increase the money flowing into his campaign.
.

and how exactly will he do this without having a comprehensive plan? He is talking out his ass and everyone knows it.
Is Ted Cruz talking out of his ass as well? This must be a pretty big conspiracy.

The only 'plan" Trump has to protect those with preexisting conditions is one to place them in "high risk pools' with unaffordable premiums. So stop the lying. EO's are meaningless pieces of paper when it come to this issue. If the ACA is upended there will be hell to pay so get ready. It is settled law like Roe vs Wade and if the reactionary justices Trump appointed do not follow that they will be diluted by 4 new flaming liberals on the court. Get ready for a law that requires any bakery to bake free cakes for every same sex marriage too.

Where is your evidence that Trump, and Cruz, want to create "unaffordable premiums" for those with pre-existing conditions?

The premiums will be higher, not unaffordable.

If everyone has to pay for everyone else's medical bills, we're at the point of socialized medicine. Which results in huge tax increases, as Biden has verified. And awful hits on the economy.

There is no magic way to insure people with pre-existing conditions at the exact same price as those who do not require expensive medical treatment.

Trump has done nothing but try to take health care away from tens of millions of Americans since he took office. His legislation to take away coverage failed in 2017 and now he’s back at it in the courts. His quest to eliminate pre-existing condition protections is moving to the end game on November 10 in the Supreme Court.

WTF?

It’s being done right now.

He has had FOUR years to show us how... Are we just supposed to take his word? His executive order in meaningless..

It’s coming in two weeks.

Just as it has been for 4+ years. Just let Trump take away your health care now, then he’ll finally release that replacement plan. Scout’s honor!

If his healthcare plan was any good (or even exists at all), why wouldn’t he want to release it before the election and campaign on it?

You’d think the Trumpanzees would think about that for a while.

I would be more comfortable in believing President Trump if he had produced his alternative healthcare plan he promised months ago, that he was more upfront with the public about the pandemic, that he would have been a more positive towards CV19 protocols, and just quit lying to us.

President Trump saying preexisting conditions will be covered is like him saying people he or his campaign owes money to will be paid. For example, Arizona has still not been paid for police overtime for campaign protection back in 2016. He has yet to prove his word is worth much.

Who cares what he says????

Seriously?

Is there any reason in the world to take his word on anything at this point.

The man is a pathetic loser, juggling the same set of plats he’s been juggling for four years.

I fully expect him to finish off with something disgusting and overtly racist.

It’s a very safe bet!
