During the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, numerous police officers, including those from the U.S. Capitol Police and the Metropolitan Police Department, were injured. At least 174 police officers were injured that day. Some officers sustained serious injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, broken bones, and even the loss of fingers or eyes. Many officers continue to experience long-term health issues and disabilities as a result of the attack. Some officers have even sought protective orders against rioters due to the violence they experienced that day.

He did not. The law cited requires a foreign invasion, a rebellion or the president unable to execute law.

This was a protest with minor looting and property damage. The law doesn't allow execution for tiny riots.

Not really.

We know ICE grabbed, detained, and renditioned people who aren't criminals, which shows that ICE failed to limit its actions to "dangerous people" only.

The "rioting" was contained in about a three block area.

To my thinking and in comparison to the Vancouver Stanley Cup riot, it was a ****ing picnic with over-eager, untrained cops.

There were pockets of rioting and setting things ablaze. Those responsible should be arrested. But this whole chicken little things MAGA is trying to play, like it's the ****ing '92 riots is just hysterics.

Yes J6 was an insurrection and it was done to stop the certification process to keep Trump as president since he was telling his cult the election was stolen from him over and over again.

The echo chamber cult couldn’t handle people didn’t like him and vote him in. They ate up the lies and some were true believers and didn’t care and tried to keep their fuhrer in power.

People need to stop mainlining right with propaganda and their literal lies that resulted in lawsuits paid out to those they lied about regarding the election.
