Wearing a mask to a protest isn’t illegal, but President Trump has continued to demand that law enforcement arrest masked people.

“ARREST THE PEOPLE IN FACE MASKS, NOW!” he wrote in a June 8 Truth Social post.

Does this include his masked goons at ice terrorizing our cities?

Next we'll ask to arrest people who wear guns into police stations or drive over the speed limit near hospitals or lock up other people in little cells and keep them trapped in large buildings with a bunch of others.

It's crazy the things we let some people get away with.
 
Let's see if you can understand this simple situation. Criminals wear masks when they commit crimes. They do so in hopes that they cannot be identified adn thereby will get away with all sorts of criminal behavior. Thus is the situation with the criminal protestors who are attacking police and national guardsmen.
On the other hand law officers wear masks to protect the identity of themselves and their family members from reprisal by criminals who make seek to harm the officers when off duty or their families. Not to hard to understand, unless you are blind to reality.

Where do people who are not criminals fit into your "simple" explanation? Is it just assumed that anyone wearing a mask is a criminal?
 
Actually, the protesters mostly wear them hoping that they will not be recognized by their parents, employers, etc..
 

How come ordinary police don't wear masks then?
They face way more danger than ICE agents do, every single day, year in and year out, wearing nametags and badge numbers and in clearly identifiable vehicles.

I suppose it is because the local cops are seen Serving their Community. At the same time ICE is seen abusing their community.

Criminals wear masks to protect their identities and prevent being caught.

Law enforcement wear masks to protect their identities and prevent from harm directed toward them and their families.

Doctors and nurses wear masks to protect their patients and to protect themselves.

Citizens wear masks to protect their health and protest others from becoming sick.

Ironically MAGAs hate for people to wear masks.

It's very hard to understand and this practice only started with republicans in charge. Some cop cars nowadays are so blacked out you can't even see into them, what's that purpose? For decades upon decades cops didn't have to wear masks, why now? Maybe because the shit they are doing is crossing legal lines?
