Trump unfairly blamed for problems related to incompetence at CDC

Poor Trump! What a victim! Powerless to overcome any challenge his administration faces, and resorts to having other people point the finger at Trump's own branch of government, in a juvenile effort to remind everyone that the buck doesn't stop with Trump...ever...well, unless he wants it to...it stops with whoever he points the finger at.

The CDC delayed providing test kits for detecting the coronavirus for a month due to irresponsible contamination in labs producing the kits.

That's odd. When Trump visited the CDC on March 6th he said anyone who needs a virus test can get a test.

Was Trump lying to us?

Trump: Anyone who wants virus test can get a test

Trump should have licensed the kit developed by SK for the US, failure in leadership

Trump is in charge in of the CDC, failure in his leadership

Trump is president, the buck stops with him.

Depends on your definition of "needs a test"

Remember that we've gone from "the buck stops here" to "the buck stops there....way over there" style of leadership.

"total authority" has consequences.

Gallup has recorded its sharpest approval rating dip to date since President Trump took office, currently standing at 43%, per recently released polling.

What's happening: The decline comes as about 65% of Americans say that Trump was too slow to take major steps to handle the threat of the coronavirus in the U.S., Pew Research found in a survey published Thursday.

Where it stands: American's approval of Trump's presidency has dropped six percentage points since March 24, shortly after he advised people to self-isolate for 15 days to slow the spread of the virus and signed an emergency relief package.

Gallup's March 24 poll measured Trump's approval rating days before the U.S. led the world in coronavirus cases.

I wonder if he thinks pushing re-open is what will help his ratings.

That's what he thinks. However, most don't have a high regard for what he thinks.

He lies. He creates his own fantasies. It no longer matters what this President thinks. The idea that he is conducting these press conferences on a pandemic instead of medical experts speaks for itself. To Trump, rhetoric cures all. He needs to put his spin on the crisis, and, of course, it doesn't matter to him that he has no idea what he is talking about.

Encouraging protesters who wish to eliminate social distancing says it all. That was beyond stupid and suggests mental illness.

Trump won't hesitate to put his own supporters in danger, for the slightest, pettiest and most self-serving reasons. Trump supporters must be the most gullible voting block in this countries history. As long as Trump continues to stick it to Liberals they will swallow his lies and defections. The Right know they have lost the culture war, they are bitter and petty. There leaders and talking heads will send them out to protest measures put into place to protect society, without a critical thinking brain cell being utilized.

My advice is don't believe anyone who seems only bent on criticizing someone (especially if all their criticisms are directed at President Trump) for different obstacles facing political leaders trying to do the best for Americans in this crisis.

Wait...what? I haven't seen Trump yet, pull a gun on someone to FORCE THEM to do anything....have you?

I will wait for some kind of proof of that ****tard of a statement.....

Trump has not even begun to fail in democrats eyes. Imagine how much venom he will stir up when it is discovered the Federal Reserve does not have the available cash to bail out big democrat cities that have been bankrupted by the democrat shutdown policies.

Well maybe if Trump spent more time ensuring the CDC was running well rather than proposing its budget be cut they'd have done a better job. Also didn't help that Trump failed to fill positions for the pandemic response team.

If Trump was to try to spend as much time on the thousands of issues democrats claim he is failing to properly supervise, he would need to borrow some time from the Big Boss of Evolution's Natural Selection because 24 hours a day is simply not enough time for him to personally care for everything the way proud, haughty, lazy, careless and hateful democrat critics seem to think he should.

Trump: Anyone who wants virus test can get a test

The CDC is doing its best to get more test kits out. I don't think we should criticize them for mistakes or accidents. Everybody makes mistakes and has accidents. Those hateful critics who are always running around proudly condemning anyone who makes a mistake should take some classes on humility, love, tolerance and compassion.

Dummies think Trump should be blamed for mistakes in any agency which answers to any government official or agency. Such criticism is stupid, immoral, unethical and proud. Trump does not run hundreds of government agencies, he oversees the business of the office of the President of the United States.
