Trump deleted this tweet about 2 hours after it was posted, so here it is, in all its glory, for the enjoyment and edification of Trump followers:
Fake News will quibble that "having written" is a dangling modifier, "best-selling" should be hyphenated or one word, and "pore" is misspelled.
Other than that, a fine job by our best-selling author. :lamo
There is something very wrong with that man.

Trump used a 'dangling modifier' in his tweet. Slow news day for the infected I see.

You missed the irony obviously. Trump was touting his "writing skills" -- albeit with syntax and spelling errors.
It's ... funny.
Whats funny is that someone actually wasted his time 'poring over' his tweets looking for grammatical errors. Be honest: you didnt know it was 'pore' over and you wouldnt know a dangling modifier if it was dangling in front of your nose.
Did Trump ever really WRITE any of those books.... as in sat down and actually penned each word without a ghost writer like Tony Schwartz actually doing the work?
Thankfully, not everyone shares your poor skills.

Nope, the time wasting was exhibiting poor (not pore or pour) writing skills in a tweet (eventually deleted) while bragging about having pride in his writing skills.
BTW, it's didn't and wouldn't.
I would say pour was not misspelled but he chose the wrong word of pour/pore
Thanks, I realize that, but I leave the apostrophe out for the sake of speed and the spell check doesnt change it. I dont plan to change the practice, so if it bothers you, oh well.
I'm not normally such a grammar Nazi, but one should consider the thread topic.
Gotcha. Trump has far worse grammatical errors than 'dangling modifiers' and the idea that 'pore' is the proper word comes as a surprise to me. I have heard the phrase countless times and would have bet it was 'pour' and not 'pore.' Ill bet not one person in a million knows that.
The entire point was about Trump having multiple grammatical errors in a short (and short lived) tweet about having pride in his writing skills.
I know. Its still dumb.
you misspelled 'embarrassing'
