If I hear someone speaking Spanish or another non-English language, do I call the cops?

It remains to be seen if this change will encourage more immigrants to learn more English. If it does, that's a good thing.
 
Whew, with all the troubling economic news lately, I was worried Trump's laser focus on culture war issues might lessen.
 
Wow! What a silly thing to say. As of 2023, 78% of the US population speaks only English at home. English is the most widely spoken language in the United States, and is the official language in 32 states and all US territories. Although 22% of U.S. residents report that they speak a language other than English at home, only 8.4% of these same residents speak English less than "very well"

This is the kind of performative stuff the MAGAverse sees as "getting so much done". I don't think I'd hire the MAGAverse to discern real work from busy work.
