Trump will say and do almost anything now to distract the press and his cult from the damage he is doing to the economy. Alcatraz is great for headlines that exhibit enough potential cruelty to keep his cult enthralled as they lose their jobs among rising living costs.

Well, it is a fascinating study into his stream of consciousness of bad ideas. He's quite productive. Now, will Alcatraz replace sending people to CECOT, or is this just to relive the past I wonder.

Why? The first 10 minutes depict the seemingly peaceful, idyllic lives of the white slave owners and their black slaves. This seems right up Donald's alley.

Where is DOGE. There were reasons Alcatraz was closed. Too expensive to operate and maintain. Now after 60? years, Trump seems to want to reopen the prison. He must think it is a turn key operation.

Can't wait to see what it will cost taxpayers to fix up the prison.
