It's true he should. Actually using the force of government to compel or sanction speech is decidedly against our first amendment rights.

It's a good example of sort of "harm" that Trump is always suing for in liable.

To follow up - I have no idea if this person actually lives in my area or not. I literally went out to purchase some ammo yesterday cause I am going to start carrying because who knows if this dude irrationally sees me as a threat and wants to take matters into their own hands.

I have a 9mm right here in the drawer within reach of my right hand, locked and loaded with a round in the chamber. It's a general principles just in case kind of thing rather than waiting for anyone in particular.

And as you say, this guy is "unhinged" but he's also pursuing "normal" procedures as it were. He's gone up the chain of command as it were to your employer who of course blew him off. Then he talked about the police as if LEA had any time for such off the wall people and stuff. I'm just noting that -- from a distance and as you describe him -- the guy seems like a by the rules and procedures guy rather than being a scheming assassin. You know him and I don't and I know you from your posts which are entirely reasonable and sound. I can't say much more except your carrying is the best thing under the circumstances but the guy sounds by the book invested in the system and very probably likes to sleep in his own bed.

To clear things up - I haven't identified this person other than the fact that they are on my Facebook friends list.

There's nothing about reporting someone's Facebook opinions about Charlie Kirk and then taking the time to cross reference that person's Facebook with their LinkedIn profile (my work details are not on Facebook) and then snitch on their employer that scream normal.

Neither is threatening to contacting law enforcement all over this. Yeah I truly believe this person is nuts and I have shut down all my socials (other than Reddit and YouTube) which is probably best for my mental health and I've got the Glock 19 with me.
