You've reinforced my decision to NOT donate to anything having to do with Trump. See? I'm already following your advice.
But joining anti-Trump protests could make me look like a whining Democrat wandering around looking for a cause the party needs to survive.

There's only a 2 party system.
Neither of them are going anywhere. The 2 parties are good at keeping them viable and the only options.

The stock market does typically look out 6-9 months into the future. They are considered 1 of the leading indicators of the future of the economy.

The question on this fall, is this a normal correction, likely. Or is this a beginning of a new trend in the economy. Also likely.

Outside the 2020 recession, very minor, we've been going straight up since we recovered from the housing bust recession in 08.
That is one of if not the longest bull run in market history.

How much is the rest of the world's tariffs on us? Before the latest round of additions.

And has that amount taken into account how the US$ is the world's reserve currency? Where every country puts their money into US$$/bonds when times get tough.
If we lose that power, that is way more terrible outcome for US than the little bit of trade deficits that we've had for 60 yrs.

Your question is illogical. Traders in financial markets will engage in what they believe to be rational actions in light of economic data and policy regardless of whether any of us support them or not. We do not vote for stock traders.

I believed Biden was half senile and had no business running again. Even with his obvious reduced cognitive abilities, he still had better sense than to engage in a global trade war. Under Biden we enjoyed the best performing large economy on earth in the wake of the pandemic. In fact, it wasn’t even close, yet it has only taken the Trump administration 3 months to throw it all away through shear incompetence. It will likely take decades for America to recover it’s credibility in financial markets and global trade.

There is also a difference between casual Trump supporters and die-hard Magas.
Staunch MAGA @trumptman has vowed his undying support and MAGAman @Mycroft isn't voting, but we all know where he stands.
I think if the economy goes too far south, some Trump supporters will bail on Donald.
But I don't think there will be enough deserters to blunt Trump's multiple idiocies.
We're stuck with the orange buffoon for 4 years.
