Funny how they claim failing support for Trump while having faithful trust in Biden.
I'm claiming nothing. It's simply what the polls are showing. Showed the same for Biden.

BTW...I said cooling not failing.

Good job Heisenberg. We could start many threads of discussion based on all the suggestions you have to "stop supporting" Trump.
You've reinforced my decision to NOT donate to anything having to do with Trump. See? I'm already following your advice.
But joining anti-Trump protests could make me look like a whining Democrat wandering around looking for a cause the party needs to survive.

You asked for suggestions, but if you don't like my suggestions, the poll question is still open-ended. It can mean whatever you want it to mean. I am just curious how bad things have to get before Trump supporters stop supporting Trump.

Investing in U.S. equities is investing in the future of America.
LOL!!

If I buy a lottery ticket, I'm "investing in my future".

I call buying lottery tickets gambling.

So when the rest of the world puts tariffs on us that is okay....You and your fellow democrats seem to be kind of mixed up with TDS.
One: Other countries putting tariffs on us was a reaction to Trump imposing tariffs to begin with.
Two: I'm not a Democrat.

Anything else you'd like to be wrong about?

liberals/progressives/democrats supported Biden even when they knew he was a demented old fool who spent most of his time on the beach while others ran the government. Funny how they claim failing support for Trump while having faithful trust in Biden.

The economy was booming in the final months of Biden's presidency, so whatever he was doing was working. That's why we supported Biden even though it was clear he was too old to run for another term.

Trump is now deliberately wrecking the economy due to a failed understanding of economics. And we are seeing the consequences of his lack of knowledge and incompetence playing out in real-time.

Trump’s old -- just like Biden -- and dementia runs in his family. Trump wasn’t exactly sharp to begin with, and it’s all downhill from here. Worse, this isn’t like his first term. Back then, he had some competent Republicans around him. Now he’s surrounded by yes-men who feed his ego and won’t rein him in. And from the looks of it, things are heading in a bad direction.

I know you believe Trump is acting on your behalf because you voted for him. You made that clear.

I know you don't want me to select the poll answer on your behalf. You made that clear.

However, I still don't know what you think about the poll question and its answers. You have not made that clear.
Read post #4.

That is what I think about the poll question.

Is this an accurate reflection of your opinion:

"I will support Trump no matter how bad things get."

Will you support Trump no matter how bad things get?

Yes, or no.
I rejected your question and your choice of answers in post #4.

Don't assume.

LOL!!

If I buy a lottery ticket, I'm "investing in my future".

I call buying lottery tickets gambling.

Are you actually unable to see any differences between investing in a business and playing the Lotto?

Or are you saying untrue things you do not believe for comedic effect?

Mycroft, assuming you're not saying this crap for political purposes, it would appear you have a fundamental misunderstanding about capitalism, business, and entrepreneurship.

All business is based on making predictions about the future. Whether it's a merchant who owns a corner store, or capital allocators leading Fortune 500 companies.

When someone decides to invest in a factory, for example, they are making a bet. You cannot separate uncertainty from the economics. You cannot separate uncertainty from the decisions people make. It's an inherent part of capitalism.

And right now people are refraining from making big purchases because they're not sure they're going to have a job a few months from now. That's a "bet" too. Are you going to call them gamblers because of their bet?

There are aspects of investing in the stock market the resemble gambling, but the stock market is not like gambling because when people buy stocks, they’re helping real companies grow. That money invested in stocks can be used to build things, hire workers, or invent new stuff. Even when stocks are traded later, for a profit, it helps reveal how much a company is worth, and it gives other people a chance to invest if they want.

If you own a stock, it means you own a small part of that company and you get to share in the activities of that company through the payment of dividends. The stock market is really about helping businesses and the economy grow.

This is something a pro-business Trump supporter should understand. This is something a pro-business Republican should understand. This is something someone who believes and understands capitalism should understand. Why don't you understand it?

Don't assume.

I'm not assuming. That's why this poll thread exists. I am interested in knowing your opinion, not just in assuming what your opinion is.

Read post #4.

I rejected your question and your choice of answers in post #4.

I understand that you want everything framed to make Trump look good. That’s not my goal. I’m not interested in your edits or your rejection of the poll. I just want your answer to the question I asked.

Just as an aside, there aren't a lot of people who read our posts. You're not going to hurt Trump by revealing your true opinion. I love debating on here, but if we're going to be honest, there's nothing we do on this forum that influences anyone's opinion beyond the readers of the forum itself. You lose nothing by being honest with me.

yawn...

Instead of asking useless rhetorical questions, why don't you simply tell me what you think the differences are?

Leftists have spent a long time ****ing things up. Change is hard. Harder when you have morons in the media and a rat party feeding hate and lies and doom to the all too eager mindless baby birds waiting for them to vomit the message of the day into their mouths.

Meanwhile...investment in US jobs has increased. Inflation has stabilized. Employment figures continue to improve. Nations are coming to the table to renegotiate trade deals that are fair and equitable. China is looking at getting their economic ass kicked as other developing nations are stepping up, eager to take on workload that may no longer be done in China. Just three months in and we will see the energy sector increasing production to better meet both domestic and foreign trade needs. The southern border was secured in less than 3 months...no small feat considering the ****ing disaster the previous administrations policies were. The idiotic green trainwreck is at least put on hold. And while the markets are down, they are nowhere near where they were during the Biden administration where the mindless minions kept repeating the rat party line...all is welll!!! all is well!!!!!

It remains comical that people that were gladly defending a ****ing dumpster fire are now shitting themselves over the attempts to put the fire out.

Your ability to be out of touch with reality is astonishing.

yawn...

Instead of asking useless rhetorical questions,
They are not rhetorical questions.

Genuine questions based on your posts.

why don't you simply tell me what you think the differences are?

If you are unable to tell the two apart or are unwilling to tell them apart,
I am unsure if I have the time or capacity to make a dent.

If you can tell them apart, there may be something to work with.

Three months and the Dow is down nearly 7,000 points. Nearly 15% in losses. What’s it gonna take to regain that?

Clowns on the left stuck with Biden until the man literally could not walk, talk, think, find his way off a stage, without help. He fell asleep during meetings, he snuck out of meeting to go nap by the pool, he didn't know where he was, who he was, who the people around him were. He facilitated the illegal entry of millions of people into the U.S. in total disregard to immigration law. He spent billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars on something that all polling says the American people were against. Many of these illegal immigrants had criminal records, often violent, and yet he let them in. When they continued their violence upon American citizens he and his party simply turned their heads and ignored it.

Here's a partial list of some of the women, girls, men and children murdered by illegals encouraged and allowed to come into the U.S. under the democrats control in the past administration.
I guess crimes by the people democrats allowed into the country don't count, and the deaths of these people did receive much notice by the democrats who opened the door to the illegals who killed them.
The "say their name" campaign by democrats went out the window pretty damned quick.

According to Trump there are ~12 million illegal migrants in the US today. Those 13 names above give a homicide rate by illegal migrants of just over 1 per million. The homicide rate in the general population is nearly 50 per million. Even if there are lots of names missing off that list, chasing illegal migrants to save lives is obviously the wring focus. I am happy to see illegal migrants returned to their home countries if done in a properly considered way that follows all laws and recognizes all rights, but trying to demonize people like this to justify breaching laws and rights is just plain evil.

???

Do you really need me to quote you?

LOL!!

Your response is very confusing. You're not making any sense. I wanted to know how bad the economy has to get before you stopped supporting Trump. Instead of assuming how you and other Trump supporters would answer, I created the poll thread. And now your refusal to respond has put everyone into the position where they have to make assumptions about your opinion, the very thing you claimed you didn't want people to do when you wrote the words: "don't assume."

Hello Integrityrespec:

I appreciate your response to this thread. I notice you still haven't answered the poll question. If you don't mind, would you respond to the poll question, or reply to my post here with your answer:

What do you think?

Will you support Trump no matter how bad things get?

Will you stop supporting Trump if there is an economic recession?

Will you stop supporting Trump if there is a severe economic depression?

Will you wait to see how his tariff strategy works before making a decision?

Have you already stopped supporting him?

So when the rest of the world puts tariffs on us that is okay....You and your fellow democrats seem to be kind of mixed up with TDS.

I think the majority of Americans would be okay with some kind of sensible, competently executed trade policy that involves some tariffs to a greater or lesser degree. The problem with Trump's approach is that he abruptly launched a trade war against every country on the planet (except for Russia and Belarus). That was dumb. It will take years to make actual deals with every country, in the meantime tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of American businesses will permanently close, and millions of Americans will lose their jobs.

Don’t worry.

They’ll be able to screw little tiny screws into iPhones.

It’s gonna be beautiful, big, tremendous.
