The left is so very agitated (more than ever) by Trump and his constant action that opposing Trump has become more than a full-time job. And, importantly, the left are so consumed by their anti-Trump feelings, that their "wishful thinking" but oh so wrong assumptions that all voters are feeling diminishing support and confidence in Trump and team, have consumed them. Many a Trump voter hasn't felt better about the direction of this country in decades.
This is not necessarily a good thing. This can be attributed to many things, some positive, but in this specific case, it seems to be negative, as the MAGA movement is agreed to be reducing itself, slightly or in a major way depending on who you ask, to the most vehement supporters of Trump, turing away the people not fully involved in itself. According to a recent study:
However, Donald Trump still retains solid leadership among his most fervent followers. Among those who identify as MAGA supporters, 97% approve of his performance, a figure that has remained stable over time. Meanwhile, among other sympathizers, support for the president is slipping: approval has dropped by 18 points since January, while disapproval has risen by 21 points.
It is also to be noted that the republican party members have began to show a decent amount of dissatisfaction with Trump's administration for one reason or another, and within independents the sentiment of dissaproval is widespread. A recent survey by Statista yielded the following results.

It remains to be seen how this develops.
We wanted things fixed/changed/addressed and the swamp cleaned out - and Trump is exceeding our expectations.
I do not wish to appear ignorant, but did MAGA members wish for an economic recession and the reduction of safety nets for the poor? If so, why?
Deportations are The Dems thought they had a "message" about the "method" of deportations but, suddenly, that is all but a dying message. And I think even the Dems are recognizin well underwayg that will be a losing narrative because they are quieting down considerably on how "mean" the deportations supposedly are.
There have been different approaches to the deportation methods, and even though it is true some democrats, mostly the ones closer to the political center have dropped the issue.
However, the main critics of trump have been not only not "quieting down", but becoming more vocal and inspective of news regarding the subject. See cases such as Alligator Alcatraz, that have gained traction as of late for the almost cartoon villain level of intentional harm within the proposal.
Yet, meanwhile, the topic has brought into full focus how successful Dems have been with redistricting in states like Illinois, California and more.
The consensus upon this topic seems to be that democrats were not in fact the main starting force for redistricting. Many analysts agree that, in fact, the democrats have done a U-Turn on their policy up to this point, mostly focused on allowing local independent comissions to redistrict states at their own discretion, because the Trump administration has practically bulldozed every legal barrier that limited their faculties. As The Atlantic newspaper remarks in a recent article titled
"How Democrats Tied Their Own Hands on Redistricting"
Now that Republicans, at the behest of President Donald Trump, are moving quickly to redraw district lines in Texas and elsewhere in a bid to lock in their tenuous House majority, Democrats want to match them seat for seat in the states that they control. But the knots they’ve tied are hard to undo.
It's remarkable to look at states north of New York, learn what percentage of the vote Trump got in these states and how very few GOP representatives there are.
This is not related to the democrats doing anything, but the way districts have historically tended to concentrate republican populations in very specific areas (AKA Gated white communities), and democrats being mostly spread out due to their variety in types of supporters.
Finally, the GOP is just beginning to understand that when they are in power, they should, can, and even must make moves which will create a more equal playing field. And Dems are beyond furious that the GOP is FINALLY understanding this.
In my opinion it is the other way around. Isnt it a main MAGA talking point that democrats dont do anything of note? I also doubt removing constitutional checks and balances to the president is "creating a more equal playing field".
