Trump spent 1 of every 5 days in 2019 at a golf club

12/31/19
How has President Donald Trump spent his Christmas vacation? Working, he says, but also on the golf course. On Tuesday, Trump closed out the year with a visit to his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach for the 12th time during his Florida vacation. According to CNN's tally, he has spent at least 252 days at a Trump golf club and 333 days at a Trump property as President. This year alone, he spent at least 86 days at a golf club, despite a late start due to the government shutdown. The golf excursions have included the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia; his Bedminister, New Jersey, golf club; Trump National Doral outside Miami; and Trump International Doonbeg in Ireland.

Between golfing at his properties and his daily Executive time, I figure Trump works about 5 days a week with 4 hour work days.

20 hour work weeks. In virtually any industry, 20 hours is considered a part-time employee.

Related: Nearly a third of the days he’s been president, Trump has visited a Trump-branded property

Oh the horrors!

Since President Trump’s election, the economy has added more than 7 million jobs, over half a million in manufacturing alone while the stock market remains in record territory.

Pretty fit for septuagenarian wouldn't you say?

He's obese and painted.

Plenty of setuagenarians are in good shape and of natural color.

He does walk it, heck he drives his cart onto the green, lazy. His gut proves what shape he is in.

The coloring is fake he's not orange in real life he's a real person who has taken on such a job when he didn't have to. We don't deserve him.

Yes, the orange is fake. It's a bad fake tan.

At his weight? No i wouldn't.

Nobody can beat Trump in 2020 not Liz nor Bernie nor Hillary nor Michelle. Too bad Barry O can't run again he might have a chance.

Has nothing to do with his weight, but ok.

we don't deserve him.

agreed! We don't deserve any incompetent, corrupt, sociopath, lying crook for president. 40% of our country does, but the rest don't.

Comments show some just like drama.. But won't research to deal with what is Facts!!! Many always talk about "Government Expenditure", but seem to ignore finding out the data on it.

"Get Facts" don't play one up drama spins...

A report from the Government Accountability Office says four such trips early on in Trump's presidency cost taxpayers $13.6 million, or some $3.4 million each.
The GAO report also found that $60,000 was paid to Mar-a-Lago in expenses for the four trips, most of that for rooms at the resort for Secret Service agents. The report noted, however, that most agents did not stay at Mar-a-Lago.

Another source listing of expense estimate:

Trump Golf Count Cost Breakdown:

AF1 flights to Mar-a-Lago: $47,288,000
AF1 flights to Bedminster: $18,375,500
Costs to Bedminster, Palm Beach: $17,437,192
Cost to guard coast off Mar-a-Lago: $21,476,000
Luxury car rental in Turnberry, Scotland: $1,260,139
Cost of stay at Trump Turnberry, Scotland: $68,800
Total cost of staying in Doonbeg, Ireland: $3,600,000
Total Cost: $109,505,631

As Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler put it, such figures “are a great example of false precision. We do not know exactly how many days Trump has golfed, and we do not know how much has been paid by taxpayers for his golf outings.” That being said, Kessler noted that Germain’s estimates were “in the ballpark” of figures released by the Government Accountability Office. Still, he argues that “one cannot fairly attribute all of these costs to golf, given the round-the-clock security required for a president.”

The bottom line is that multiple analyses have calculated figures that are in rough agreement with either Germain’s or Dáte’s claims that the cost is presently in the $109 million area, but numbers as precise as those stated in tweets mislead a reader into thinking a level of accuracy not reflective of reality has been achieved. The numbers vary, additionally, based on how one approaches the problem: Do you include all the maintenance costs for Air Force One? Do you include security costs that would be present regardless of golf outings? There is no one right answer, and as such there is no single number that can be verified as the number.

Eventually, the "Actual Cost will be tabulated" for the Presidential Expense for his Personal Travels

He still isn't doing as well as Obama-and he had a deep recession to drag America out of, in addition to job creation. Trump has it easy in comparison.

Not much to celebrate, is there.

he signed off on a massive tax cut for himself, plays golf constantly, tweets like a 12yo while watching his supporters work their asses off to survive.

suckers.

Yes indeed, a stroll around a green and rides on golf carts really burn those calories. Trump is the very picture of a svelt, well-toned Adonis. Not an ounce of excess fat anywhere on his fit and athletic physique.

If he can walk a golf course 5 days a week he's in better shape than Pelosi I bet.

In all fairness to the Honorable Speaker of the House, she does look younger than her age.

I think that it's kind of sad that women feel obligated to have facial work in order to hide their age.

Most older men, however, are considered "distinguished" if they simply keep their weight down and dress nicely.

I hope that President Obama continues to be slender as he ages.

This has to be fake nooz. This is the same man who promised his drooling supporters that he would be too busy to golf.
