Trump Speaks Facts of Life On Canada In Front of Carney (1 Viewer)

I agree.
hence the /sarcasm

I am embarrassed as an American on what President Trump is doing in regard to relationships with allies. It is going to take years to recover after he leaves office to repair the damage.
Only a cucked idiot would applaud Donald.

Freeland held them to a FAIR trade result, one that Trump signed while bragging about it's benefit.

So which is it, was Trump and his team stupid, or lying?

Charity? What are you smoking?

Here are some facts which I know as a MAGAT you'll ignore regardless:

Deficit facts

"Held them" -- with what -- her massive physique?

Has she or anyone else in Canada been able to hold Trump to the USMCA? Hell no, because there is no leverage or means to do so.
Right now, the current negotiation is being called CUSMA. And if a deal is met there, it still won't have any leverage to compel the US to stick to that either.
This trade relationship is overwhelmingly one-sided.
Wake up -- look at the thin Canadian ice you're standing on.

Did you see how Carney just sat there like a little poodle next to Trump, while Trump was making these statements to the media?
When did he have an opportunity? Trump ranted over 90% of the entire meeting mostly off topic.

Wake up. Your President is speaking for you and telling the world that your word isn't worth a pinch of coon shit, you can't be trusted to honour your agreements
The world is watching.

The man cheated on all three wives, trashed both our free trade deals and isn't sure if he has to uphold the US Constitution.

I'm beginning to see a trend.

grin!

Makes one wonder why countries aren't elbowing each other out of the way to sign trade deals with the USA.
It being such a solid basis for policy 'n all.

No, he's stated his words rather clearly, on the subject of the United States being ripped off

You just can't bring yourselves to understand your own hypocrisies and justaposed truths that have prompted those words

The world is watching.
"watching" like idle spectators who can't do shit

the Butler-PA gambit following Biden's debate debacle didn't work

Trump is a welcher. How can you deal with someone who is notorious for not keeping a deal?

Nope - that was before Biden & the globalist puppeteers tried to seize control of his country through all kinds of dirty, underhanded tricks in their quest for power at all costs.

Trudeau and Carney showed how hand-in-glove they were with those people. Look at Carney's own resumé.

Atlas is now Shrugging.

That's bullshit, but if you don't understand how it works by now I don't have the eloquence to explain it to you. See if this works...

RING!

American Bridge- "Hello, Stelco? We'd like to order 25 tons of 1/2" mild steel plate, please."
Stelco- "Sorry, the Canadian government says we can't sell you any more steel until a Canadian company buys something worth $40M from an American company to keep the balance of trade even.'

Is that how you, and Trump, think it should work? You both need a middle-school economics teacher to help you with this. A very patient one.

You just can't bring yourselves to understand your own hypocrisies and justaposed truths that have prompted those words
You shouldn't use words you don't know. Believe me, if you think it makes you sound educated you're wrong.

Watching like players that won't make that mistake again.

Ah yes, the Miracle in Butler!
Trumps ear, from the front, is a target of about 2 millimetres and the only spot on his bloated, corpulent body that can be seen bleeding by the cameras and crowd without being a serious injury.
When the new Pope is elected he'll declare it an official miracle, on day 1!

The WSJ has called the notion that trade between the US and all other countries be equalized "bonkers".

@sanman will never get it.

Do they seriously want the government to dictate to companies who they can trade, buy and sell, with? And how much?
Trump might be the only national leader in the free world who wants to have that much power and authority.

Pray tell how the U.S. is being "ripped off" by other countries in trade.

Because I really don't understand it,.
He can't explain it. All he can do is repeat the childishly simplistic fiction that Trump feeds his low-functioning following.

I've been looking at the coverage of this internationally and the common theme in news reports seems to be Carney's response to the 51st state nonsense.

The general consensus is that Carney held up well.

To his credit (besides the 51st state stuff and his criticism of other Canadian politicians) Trump was a gracious host.
The sex offender was better behaved than during his visit with Zelensky (he now understands that Putin wants ALL of Ukraine)-but Carney looked like he was eating lemons during the lecture.

His facial expressions at times were enough to let us know he disagreed with some of Trump's wildly careening comments.

I've posted a video elsewhere showing that Carney was within millimeters of a full on eye roll at one point.

The fact he didn't burst out laughing is testament to his disciplined maturity.

I would summarize the meeting the other day with 3 pictures:

Welcome to the White House Mr. Carmey....

And here is the bombshell announcement!

The deal US made with UK!
Will Trump give us the same deal...........................or, was he telling Carney, "you wish?"

The deal, which the UK government has said will save “thousands of jobs”, will see car export tariffs slashed from 27.5 per cent to 10 per cent, for a quota of 100,000 UK cars.
This, the government said, is almost the total the UK exported last year.

Mr Trump’s 25 per cent tariffs on steel will be axed entirely, while a levy on ethanol – which is used to produce beer – coming into the UK from the US has been removed entirely.

In addition to this, the two governments have negotiated new reciprocal market access on beef, giving UK farmers a tariff free quota of 13,000 metric tonnes of meat.

Downing Street has also said that the US has agreed to give the UK “preferential treatment” in any further tariffs imposed as part of Section 232 investigations - a process where the US government

determines if certain imports threaten US national security.
