Ah yes, the great excuse Bible-thumpers always retreat to when asked why they support savage cuts to essential government services like Medicaid, SNAP, and helping starving people overseas (of which hundreds of thousands have died since Trump destroyed USAID).

By the way, this thread is about Trump's plan to round up millions of undocumented workers and deporting them because some Americans don't like them for some reason they can never quite explain. (Pssst: it's because they are racist shits. Was Jesus a racist shit?)

I say make everyone a non-citizen

Nobody has to pay taxes, buy insurance, nobody is covered by labor laws, companies don't have to match 401K and pay PTO etc ....... as a non-citizen you get free healthcare, you don't have to pay property taxes or anything like that, don't have to have a drivers license ....

As presented It seems to me like Trump didn't actually know... And, that the other staffers were mad because the truth reaching the president undercut their incredibly stupid policies.

The president is apparently instructible yet vapidly ignorant and takes most of his cues from bad fox news takes.

Our poor 'conservative' spin doctors are trying to give him 'credit' for reaching his second presidency without knowing how his most central policy position actually works in reality.

The same people that will argue until they are blue in the face that courts shouldn't be instructing the president on the legality of his actions.

Focusing ICE attention on undocumented criminal immigrants seems like a good thing. While addressing those people who have been in this country for years with clean police records is (and should be) a very low priority.


But the most important thing in partisan politics remains the same. "The other team sucks!!"

The President just called in the marines because ICE was hassling every brown person they could find at a home depot in LA so that they could reach artificial quotas set by Stephen Miller.
