Who believes that? Trump is changing his stances, wonder if the faithful will notice.

Uh oh! Commyla will have to have Dana Bash announce that she was in favor of this before Trump.

She is now a Trump clone.

After spending months bragging about how 'he' overturned RvW, Trump has realized that continuing to push this as a positive to collect the radical religious votes is costing him many more votes than he is gaining. He can't divorce himself from RvW being overturned, so he is now in panic mode trying to divorce himself from the religious nutters approach to IVF, birth control etc. He is also trying to pretend that the impact of overturning RvW wasn't really him, but is failing rather badly.

He doesn't really give a shit himself, but he desperately wants to stop losing votes by being tied to these extremely radical and unpopular positions. He obviously thinks that he has done enough to get the radical religious vote anyway, so can risk upsetting them a little to try and win back some of the more moderate voters. Trump is purely transactional. He holds few if any moral values. Whenever you see him changing positions on this sort of stuff you need to think about it from a purely transactional point of view, and abandon any thoughts of him having a moral position on the topic. That is how you understand what he is up to.

Somewhere J.D Vance is crying on the sofa.

But seriously, Trump will probably have walked this back by tomorrow.

Is Trump flip flopping on IVF? Didn't he say before this had nothing to do with him? Or that it is a decision for the States?

What is it that The Libs of DP don't understand about Roe V Wade. Trump is rightly proud that it was overturned. The Feds have no business in the matter. It is a STATES rights issue.

PS. I hope this helps.

Since I know you don't deal in tough questions....

If it's purely a "state's rights" matter, then exactly HOW can Trump make IVF - ya know, the treatment that creates more fertilized embryos than will be utilized - legal nationwide and not trample on some state's abortion laws.....particularly those that (like Missouri) have complete bans on abortion???

Yeah, I noticed but it won't stop me from voting for a republican over a democrat. Democrats are far too liberal/progressive for the good of the nation IMO. I can't support the crap they hand out. I'm a believer in work and earn it versus government hand outs and making some folks pay for other folks folly..

You gotta get with the new Liberals R Us program.

Equity is the rule of the day. Didn't care to study or work hard when you were younger? Prefer to drink, do drugs, be a thug? Don't have much of anything because of that? Not to worry. CommyLa to the rescue! You need money. You need a house cause others have that. Free food. Free drugs. Free money. It's called equity.

I take offense to this post. You are grouping all liberals into this category and it's simply not true. My husband who immigrated here in the 1980s due to the war in El Salvador is one the most hardworking liberals I know. Since the day we met in 2005 he has worked 60 + hours a week all while making time for his community, his children and his family. Putting himself through college on his own dime. Not once has he taken a hangout from the Government. Stop with these broad generalizations of liberals as low-life criminals and deadbeats, just makes you look silly and uninformed.

Isn't forcing insurance companies to pay for fertility treatments a mandate?

That's funny, because you're trying to put them in power.
"Them"? Trump is hardly a religious nutso.

Look, Geoist (and others) I was raised in the Catholic cult, taught by nuns. No one is more evangelical than nuns, priests and Catholics. I know all about the. P25 was generated by some of those. Trump has disavowed it 2025 times. If he was a religious nutso, he would have embraced. I know the libs are trying to tie him toP025 because you all unwittingly follow your leaders who are playing the fear card. It's shameful.

My post was and is about CommyLa's desire for equity.

Is abortion like IVF?
Yes, in this sense: fertilized eggs are created that will never, ever be implanted and may be destroyed by their owners.

If fertilized eggs are not human life, then abortion should be legal in every state because non-human life doesn't have any rights at all.

Now, answer the question....instead of deflecting and dodging it.
