Of Yovanovitch, Trump said, "She may be a wonderful woman, I don't know her."

"But she may be very much a wonderful woman," he continued. "If you remember the phone call I had with the [Ukraninan] president, the new president, he didn’t speak favorably. But I just don’t know her. She may be a wonderful woman."

According to the White House summary of the call, Zelenskiy said it was Trump who first informed him that Yovanovitch was a "bad ambassador."

"It was great that you were the first one who told me that she was a bad ambassador because I agree with you 100 percent. Her attitude towards me was far from the best as she admired the previous president and she was on his side. She would not accept me as a new president well enough," Zelenskiy said, according to the White House.

Trump is struggling to keep all his lies straight.

Gotta feel for Zelensky.

So much was riding on his ability to humor Trump.

Fortunately, he was a professional comedian. Certainly that skill comes in handy for him, especially when he has to deal with Trump. I'm glad someone sees the humor in all of this.

Also, so you don't write him off as a joke, he also has a degree in law and economics.

Since these are Trump’s strong areas of expertise, they should get on well! /s

You dont have to KNOW someone to believe they are bad in some way. What seems clear from what little we know about her testimony--since it was held in secret so the public cant know - is that based his decision to remove her on the statements of others. So yeah, he probably doesnt know her, yet he believed he knew enough about her to get rid of her. Dont be so desperate.

Nobody knows more than Trump on law and economics, everyone says so.

"Don't be so desperate" That is about the worst case of projection I have seen in a looooooooong time.

And why did our illustrious president also add, she's going to be dealing with some things? That sounds like a threat to me but of course not to you and your ilk.

No, it doesnt sound like a threat to me. It sounds like you reading into things that arent there. But thats been going on for 3 years now.

Well thats just something else you would be wrong about. Im not desperate at all. Trump is going to win re-election and you know it. Thats why you guys are so desperate to get him out now. This thread is just another desperate attempt to make something out of nothing. But when all youve got is nothing, I dont really blame you for trying.

Yes I know, you are a part of the ilk.

Thats fine. You claim it was a threat, wheres your evidence? Trump made this supposed threat almost 3 months ago, what has happened to her since? Answer: nothing. So it clearly wasnt a threat. But no, I dont expect your ilk to ever admit that.

My evidence? The same place all the evidence comes from, out of trump's mouth. Being removed from your position is not nothing.

Try and get your facts straight. She was removed BEFORE Trumps statement. So again, where is evidence of this threat? Let me answer for you since you wont: there was no threat, you made that up and having been called out on your BS will now run away.

Didn't at one time Trump said he didn't know Stormy Daniels?(LOL)

There is a growing list of people DonDon says he does not know. Rudy is next on the list.

Trump tries to say nice things about everyone. I remember when Stanley McCrystal was fired by Obama. I don't think Obama said anything good about that good man.

Rubbish; Obama was nothing but complimentary about him, his service and dedication. Hear for yourself...

Why am I, an Englishman, having to correct you, an American? Isn't it embarrassing being schooled by a foreigner?

Oh right, she was removed because trump heard she was a bad person. Evidence, she was removed from her position, what more evidence do you need?

Nice dodge. You claimed his comment was a threat. It wasnt. She was removed long before he made this supposed 'threat.' So your accusation was BS. Period.

Many people in the political arena are privately sacked before an official public announcement is made, 'accepting' their resignation.

Not sure he is the one who sounds desperate.

I guess you are right. Obama, like Trump, has said nice things about people he has fired.
Nevertheless, McCrystal was openly opposed to some of Obama's bad policies.
