Trump says he’s removing Fed Governor Lisa Cook, cites mortgage fraud allegations

You know what is fickle ethics? These Democrats and their appointees being so brazen as to think the can commit fraud because the rules don't apply to them. As a Biden appointee, I bet she was quite sure that no one would take a second look at what she did, because she's one of them and that's just fine. She didn't count on someone with ethics actually holding her to account.
A person with "ethics" in the Trump administration?

Too funny.

The only ethics is kissing Trump's ring.

Trump Is Accusing Foes With Multiple Mortgages of Fraud. Records Show 3 of His Cabinet Members Have Them.

The White House has targeted opponents, including a Fed governor, for having more than one primary residence on their loan papers. ProPublica found that, in one case, a Trump cabinet secretary got two such mortgages in quick succession.

Underscoring how common the practice is, ProPublica found that at least three of Trump’s Cabinet members call multiple homes their primary residences on mortgages. We discovered the loans while examining financial disclosure forms, county real estate records and publicly available mortgage data provided by Hunterbrook Media.

Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer entered into two primary-residence mortgages in quick succession, including for a second home near a country club in Arizona, where she’s known to vacation.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has primary-residence mortgages in New Jersey and Washington, D.C.

Lee Zeldin, the Environmental Protection Agency administrator, has one primary-residence mortgage in Long Island and another in Washington, D.C., according to loan records.

roflol. You just, grudgingly, agreed with me.
Huh? Your entire position is based upon defending this administration. That's all you bring... and you're terrible at it.
By overriding a veto.
The power of the purse comes from Congress, and that includes monetary policy.
Yes. According to the law that was passed by a past congress and president. That doesn't 'place them under congress'.
Let's ask AI:

Does the Federal Reserve fall under the executive branch?
Gemini said:
No, the Federal Reserve does not fall under the executive branch; it is an independent central bank designed to be insulated from direct political control by the President or Congress, though it is accountable to Congress and the public. Its monetary policy decisions are made independently to avoid political pressure and focus on long-term economic goals.
Try it for yourself!

Nope. Another fail. Again - not interested in your name calling.

The power of the purse comes from Congress, and that includes monetary policy.

So you misunderstood that concept also.
