I don't think it's a good way to act. I've said before that Trump would be much better off if he handed his social media over to the communications department like most presidents have. He frequently gets in his own way.

That's how authoritarians are. They like to blur the line between fact and fiction. This is one way to do it.
 
He's distracting from the "I don't know" answer to the "upholding the constitution" thing. That's what this is about. It's made him look dumb as a rock & he needed to change the story STAT.

Absolutely. Or expand an existing one. Alcatraz had it's place, but it's no longer needed. The remote location made it difficult to escape, but also difficult to support. Modern electronic surveillance is cheaper and more effective than locating a prison in shark infested waters.

When did I say I supported him? That's a perception that comes from extreme tribalism.

He was the least bad option of two bad options. I would have preferred that either party (or both) put forward a good one.

The UK has many Victorian era prisons that have been kept in use but are now being shut down and they're palaces compared to Alcatraz.

The only reason to suggest using it is to make sure conditions are as grim as humanly possible and I see now way that will help rehabilitate anyone.
You also can't keep people in it long term as it will be disease infested and even the staff will have conditions so bad depression will be rampant and staff turnover will be huge.

Would anyone here like to work at Alcatraz?
 
Superman prisons already exist. This is another one of the dumb ****s showy ideas.

Actually when you look objectively and not politically at his attacks on the judiciary, academia, law firms, free speech, the free press constitutional rights, personal vendettas and more it is anything but stale.

he was hands down, objectively, the worst option in American history.
 
I wonder what his dreams are when he sleeps. They would most likely scare the shit out of the majority of Americans.
