Trump had an “African-American Town Hall" today that was pretaped for Sean Hannity's show tonight.

An audience member asked about black violence and Trump responded he will propose a nationwide stop-and-frisk program.

“I would do stop-and-frisk. I think you have to."

Thoughts on Trumps latest outreach to the black community?

Oh, BTW: This was the audience at Trump's closed-to-journalists African-American Town Hall:

Trump praises 'stop-and-frisk' police tactic

"U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Wednesday he would consider using "stop-and-frisk" policing methods to cut crime if elected, according to two people who attended a Fox News "town hall" taping at a predominantly African-American church in Cleveland.
...
Stop-and-frisk, however, has been the target of protests and successful legal challenges in New York and other big American cities in recent years as a tactic that unfairly singles out minority citizens and violates their civil rights.
In the tactic, officers stop pedestrians, question them and then search them for weapons or contraband.

The town hall, moderated by Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, taping was closed to journalists."

I think I'll choose stop & frisk over the current situation of burn & riot.

He is sounding more like a dictator everyday.

An "African-American Town Hall".

Can this assclown be any more obnoxious and insufferable than he is?

Yep... Frisk away.. Profile the **** out of them too.. Make police profiling mandatory.. Profile all races..

I think they already do that for the safety of the officer and the person being detained or questioned. I have been asked nicely more than once to be cuffed for both our safety in Houston late at night. I was patted down and after another officer arrived the cuffs were removed and the officer thanked me for my cooperation. I don't have a problem if the officer treats you with respect when doing it. We were alone on an open stretch of road late at night. It made perfect sense to me.

Now to just stop and frisk people for no reason should be illegal. I think there needs to be a reason for stopping someone.

What does that mean?

I'm guessing something like

Black = Thug
Muslim = Terrorist
Jew = Greedy
White = Good Guys :cool:
Arab & French = Stinky
English = Bad teeth
Polish = Stupid
German = Nazi
Mexican = Illegal Immigrant

etc etc.

What does that mean?

Profile blacks for guns and illegal drugs.. profile mexicans for being illegal immigrants and drug smuggling human trafficing, profile arabs for terrorism and human trafficing, profile whites for money laundering and white collar crime drugs bikers hacking or whatever it is that you think cops should be watching whites for..

Frisk me baby..

So what else will you give away your rights for?

Let's go walk around Southwest Atlanta for a while, particularly the Pittsburgh neighborhood. I can guarantee that you'll be stopped and frisked, but not by police, lol.

I am a concealed carry holder, so I won't be getting stopped and frisked.

I'm still confused about how exactly this would help with riots.

Because the rioters are criminals for one the way they act while rioting and for 2 many are gangsters and criminals in the first place that should be in jail where they cant riot..

How would stop and frisk help with riots?

Most riots (LA 1992, Ferguson) get kicked off by gang members, and then others see the mayhem and join in. Stop and frisk documented gang members, lock them up, and you may just stop a riot from occurring.

And Stop and Frisk will somehow help identify future rioters? I don't think anything one carries on you will help you identify someone who may one day be part of a riot.

the Bill of Rights seems to become a top tier issue only when the other side is in charge. sadly, anti-war sentiment suffers from a similar ailment.

The Supreme Court upheld investigative detentions in Terry v. Ohio a long time ago. Since then, it has fledged out the requirements for the "stop-and-frisk" procedure in other decisions. The standard that applies is reasonable suspicion, which is something less than the probable cause needed for arrest. There is nothing in the least exceptional about Trump's comment--the constitutionality of that sort of temporary detention without arrest is very well established. Naturally criminals don't want to be questioned by police about their suspicious activities, and they can count on collectivists who resent police to rush to their defense.

That seems like a pretty tenuous connection to give up your rights. Stop and Frisk is not all that effective at putting away gang members. And since most of the actual rioters in many cases aren't gang members, I'm not at all convinced that they wouldn't happen anyway, even if it were gang members that started them.

The same can be said for the debt and deficit spending.
