The Israeli public deserves a better explanation. Netanyahu has boasted that he has been subjected to 15 inquiries and investigations over the years and gotten off scott free. In the late 1990s the police recommended an indictment against him, but Attorney General Elyakim Rubinstein refused to pursue charges

Their leadership are old radicals so wedded to the cause that they will continue to prioritize Israel's destruction over the well being of heir people. The entire society and education system is built around perpetuating the core objective of Israel's destruction and not ways to improve Palestinians' futures.

So it isn't a lack of reason. It is a matter of priorities.
