A federal judge in Oregon temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s administration from deploying the National Guard in Portland, ruling Saturday in a lawsuit brought by the state and city.

look at the earlier decision -completely incorrect that a governor or court has the ability to stop a POTUS from sending in Guard to protect ICE doing it's law enforcement. The Nat Guard can be deployed to federal locations in any state where needed. It's an executive branch decision to federalize a state Guard for federal protections.
U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut wrote a pile of uninformed incorrect assertions dressed up as ' saving' the Constitution.
In fact it's twisted on executive powers that states can block federalized Guard .the Supremacy Clause
^ there is no "military intrusion into civil affairs" if the Guard is used to defend ICE facilities. Her entire opinion is a fallacious sophistry
>snip<
State and city officials sued to stop the deployment last week, one day after the Trump administration announced that 200 Oregon National Guard troops would be federalized to protect federal buildings.
Immergut has no say in whether federalized guard participation is determined by the size and scope of the protest/Antifa tactics used on ICE
It's simply not her call -despite plaintiff assertions it is
Next. Trump goes National Guard shopping in CA and is shot down. Hopefully the 9th gets this corrected, or off to the SCOTUS emergency docket is afterwards
