Trump on idea to run for House seat in 2022 in a bid to become Speaker

Maybe he could hold seats in both the House and Senate AND be president by 2024!! I'm just trying to keep up with crazy world.

  • A radio host suggested to Trump that he should run for a House seat in 2022 and become Speaker.

  • Trump responded that it was a "very interesting" idea and might be better than running for Senate.
 
I wish Trump would just get the message and piss off.
 
He'll also be appointed head of the World Health Organization and Union of Concerned Scientists. Plus, he'll be placed in charge of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

He'll also become a world champion Nascar driver in his spare time.
He showed his awesome driving skills when he pretended to drive that truck.

If I were a 12 year old girl I'd say he's a Dreamboat but I'm 45 and British so I'll just be happy calling him a Fat tub of Lard.

I think he's also going to be secretary of state. With all of these new positions he's going to have to cut down on his golfing or work four days a week for more golf so he can relax.
 
I bet Trump's Speaker of the House Plan ends with the death of the Pres and VP. That's obvious, right?

LOL, okay. Let see, if Trump still calls Mar a Lago, Fla home, I think he'd have a hard time winning. Palm Beach County went to Biden 56-43% over Trump. The 21st congressional district where Trump lives went for Biden 58-41. So with redistricting taking place, the Florida legislature would have to draw a Trump friendly district. Which I'm sure is doable.

The senate would also be interesting as that would pit Trump against Rubio in the GOP primary. Now John Q Adams after he lost the presidency to Jackson ran and became a congressman from Massachusetts 1830-1848. So it's been done before.

It's just something I remembered. Far as I know J.Q. Adams was the only former president who became a representative after he left the presidency.

Rubio has been one of Trump's biggest defenders and one might say loyalist. Like so many others that were loyal to Trump beyond expectations, throwing Rubio under the bus would be in Trump's character. He seems loyal only to himself.
 
In other news....Trump has gained a new apprentice and hopes to turn him to the dark side in a bid to destroy our republic and create the first galactic empire

Of course, the idea of him running for Representative was floated to him during a radio show. Like floating a Big Mac in front of him, he grabs onto it in the moment. It's the thought of being the House Speaker is what truly got his juices flowing between his ears and who knows, possibly just due south of his jelly belly too. Anything that gives him power over __________ (<- fill in the blank) is exactly what he's all about that also includes his 'me me me' self image. I do agree with your probability. I'm not sure redistricting would actually be needed (or it could be) because his elitist popularity there in the Palm Beach area, along with him being the previous president, could get him elected Rep. without too much effort.

Appreciate the reminder about John Q. I do suffer from a growing amount of cobwebs in my attic. As popular as Rubio might be in Fla, I think (S/I/T) Trump would steamroll him in a Senate race. Again, elitist popularity + previous c-n-c along with his stage stents during such a campaign should get him the prize. All it really takes are shallow voters to push one like him across the finish line. Here's the kicker for me. I didn't realize that he was already considering a Senate run. I must be spending way too much time chasing spiders coming from my attic.

In which addresses his Art of the Tapping. His inability to publicly speak like an adult or like anyone with more than a 8th grade education ( I know - that's giving him far too credit) taps into the lowly educated population. The other voters that he taps into is those with lots of $$$$$$$. Without those two contributing elements, he'd struggle to be dog catcher.
