I'll tell you the facts hehind what he said as I had a friend endure this very situation and it was heart wrenching. Her beloved baby boy was delivered in the third trimester with a condition he could not survive. The parents and the doctors discussed the path forward and the descion was made to not take any steps, such as life support, to extend the inevitable but rather to keep Michael comfortable in his mother's arms where he died peacefully. That is what the Governor was talking about ,not the ugly distortion made of it by the right.

Mother's and doctors do not kill viable babies , they simply don't. Doctors are bound by laws and protocols and no Mom wants to be in such a terrible space as watching their baby die.

If you are correct, and you are not, then why did the bill the governor was pushing remove the safeguards set in place to insure that it was indeed only a baby with deformities or other serious problems like your friends case?
