"The Army is reviewing how pro-President Donald Trump merchandise wound up being sold on one of its bases this week at a service-sponsored event orchestrated by the White House and the president's supporters.

Earlier this week, Trump spoke at Fort Bragg in North Carolina in celebration of the Army's 250th birthday. At the event, vendors were spotted selling Trump merchandise -- including "Make America Great Again" hats and other "America First" swag. The practice is likely at odds with long-standing Defense Department policy, which prohibits troops from wearing political garb such as hats or flags or expressing their political opinion while in uniform.
The policy is intended to preserve America's tradition of apolitical military forces, serving at the behest of a democratically elected president regardless of party."
The public event at Fort Bragg, which is home to the Army's 82nd Airborne Division and serves as the headquarters of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, was orchestrated much like a Trump campaign rally."

I don't think its a good idea to politicize the military. It will affect morale and unity.

Seems like you should wait and see if they actually wear this in their uniform or you should make a fuss.

Are you suggesting it should be illegal for someone who serves in the military to have a maga hat?

I don't have any issue at all with military personal owning Harris walz items.

Why can't they have this? They're not supposed to wear uniform and their leaders should reprimand their best they do.

If you are a new born dictator this is a perfect thing to do.
Yes the man who was shot at face multiple attempts to convict him on some criminal nonsense, taste multiple attempts to pay for up to he's the dictator not the people doing this shit to try it and interfere with democracy including firing bullets at the man

Trump never misses an opportunity to grift the rubes.

Oh my. Who could possibly have predicted this? Everyone? I'm sure the price will reflect the added tariff placed on China, where all his shit is made.

Why? Are military personnel not allowed to have things? Are they illegal items?
When have we ever had a president give a speech on a base and then sell merchandise. Quit trying to be so obtuse, this isn't about military personnel buying political wear, it's about the President selling merchandise during a visit to the base.

A little intellectual honesty would be refreshing from you.

Sorry it's not illegal for military personnel to disagree with you. Thought illegal for them to have things that it's legal for everyone else to have.

You are mistaken.

No one is arguing that they shouldn't be able to own stuff.

Have you considered familiarizing yourself with the topic?

MAGAs will do anything to make excuses for Dear Leader.

I wouldn't say anything, but I am currently painting my face black in preparation to muck-about a No Kings rally in Carlsbad, so it's pretty close.

MAGA.
