What it would teach them is what it is like to survive on that....even if they know they are going back to their cushy lifestyle. I didn't realize how good our poor have it, until I went and lived in a foreign country....while it isn't good for the US standards...compared to the rest of the world, it kind of is.

Very true, but we have a big problem. Improperly regulated capitalism is producing a situation where the citizens are losing faith in our government. Our government derives it's power from the consent of the governed.

If enough people stop believing in our government our nation will fail completely.

Then the lifestyles of not only our poorest, but nearly everyone else will take a tragic nosedive.

Some have to look at the big picture. Most won't. It behooves those who can see what's going on to do something about it.

If nobody does, we're doomed.

The big question is: "Can we get the corruption out of our government in time?"

We can certainly do it. Many are working on the problem. The more people who recognize the problem and contribute to the solution, the more secure the future of our nation is.

For those who are raising families, this should be of the utmost importance. Their children and grandchildren are at stake.

When did Walz say those words? Provide the proof. If he did say them, provide the context. After all, as Minnesota governor, he would need to be abreast of what was happening. When did Kamala Harris want to defund the police? Can you provide a direct quote? One that someone did provide was debunked since it was clear that all she wanted was to direct some funds to social workers and others who could help police defuse tense situations. Polls show that most Americans support that. Yes she supported providing bail for those accused of rioting. Our Constitution provides for that. Do you not believe in "innocent until proven guilty"? That is the backbone of our judicial system. Do you not like the Constitution? Most of those detained ended up being released anyway because they clearly were innocent. Once again the anti-Harris crowd has nothing but lies and distortions.
