Trump lies again, says US mediated ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

There's a reason that the only sources you can find to support your narrative are random people on social media.
Can you refute a single thing he lists?

-no end to Russia-Ukraine war in 24 hrs <-- true
-no Epstein Files <-- true
-no mass deportations <-- true
-no arrests for fraud <-- true
-no $5000 @DOGE Checks <-- true
-no decrease in federal spending <-- true
-no new trade deals <-- true

Yes, he claims no ceasefire was brokered. That is false.

I think what's important here is not that two nuclear powers have called a cease fire amid rising tensions and escalating attacks, but how all of this relates to Donald Trump. 🤪
Tell that to your bloated king.

Even the most devout MAGAs are shaking their heads at Dear Leader's pathological need to be give credit for anything good.

What a sad little man.

"Hours after India and Pakistan reached a ceasefire agreement, drone sightings and shelling were reported in Srinagar and Udhampur, while blackouts were reimposed in several areas including Katra and Bhawan in Jammu and Kashmir, as drones were spotted in the region.

ISLAMABAD/NEW DELHI, May 10 (Reuters) - Nuclear-armed neighbours India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire on Saturday after U.S. pressure and diplomacy, but within hours, blasts were reported from the main cities of Indian Kashmir, the centre of four days of fighting.
Blasts were heard in Srinagar and Jammu and projectiles and flashes were seen in the night sky over Jammu, similar to the events of the previous evening, according to authorities, residents and Reuters witnesses.

Does not look like much of a cease fire to me.

As far as social media. I take most of it with a grain of salt. That includes what Trump and his staff post on TruthSocial and X.

Well, if someone takes credit for a ceasefire negotiation the two parties who are in direct conflict reject as untrue, then that becomes the bigger story.

The deal maker got India and Pakistan to agree to a ceasefire! YAY!

Then L'il Marco also joined in!

And who got them to get together?

actually, it was a news site. I'm pretty sure Trump doesn't control Pakistani military.
What news site? I don't see your link.

Trump lies and MAGA cheer.

The US had input.

-------------

After alarming intelligence, US VP called Modi to encourage ceasefire talks, sources say

From CNN's Alayna Treene

A core group of top US officials — including Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State and interim national security adviser Marco Rubio and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles — had been closely monitoring the escalating conflict between India and Pakistan when on Friday morning, the US received alarming intelligence, Trump administration officials told CNN.
While they declined to describe the nature of the information, citing its sensitivity, they said it was critical in persuading the three officials that the US should escalate its involvement.
Vance himself would call Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Behind the scenes: Vance briefed President Donald Trump on the plan, then spoke with Modi at noon eastern time on Friday, making clear to the Indian prime minister that the White House believed there was a high probability for dramatic escalation as the conflict went into the weekend, the administration officials said. Vance encouraged Modi to have his country communicate with Pakistan directly and to consider options available for de-escalation, the officials said.

At that point, the officials said, the US believed the two sides were not talking, and they needed to get them back to the bargaining table. Vance also outlined to Modi a potential off-ramp that the US understood the Pakistanis would be amenable to, the officials said, though they did not offer details.

And Trump. However I just saw Pakistan is shooting again.
Incorrect, Donald was not involved. He did however fantasize about the idea that he was, then decided to make his fantasy real by posting lies on Truth Social. And as a loyal foot soldier, you promptly began regurgitating his lies as fact here. It's a fairly predictable cycle. Donald takes credit for something that hasn't happened. @Bullseye and @Taylor show up here to boast about it. It turns out that the deal he claimed to broker didn't actually exist. In response to this new information, @Bullseye and @Taylor begin deflecting to other subjects (in this case, probably something related to Joe Biden).

This is just LW, Trumpdementia rant - produce some real proof that he wasn't involved.

Two paywalled articles, and the CNN one says the information came from the Trump team.

That is what the OP is about: Trump making claims, and the other parties refuting it.
You've got a random dude on twitter, and an article from a source known for many failed fact checks

The Indian Express reports on the Me Too movement, climate change and criticizes the right-leaning Modi government such as this Despite govt claims, migrants continue to be vulnerable and abandoned. In general, there is a slight left-leaning editorial bias, and the news is not always reported factually, as evidenced by failed fact checks.

I have given two Indian sources in this thread.

But if you don't like that:

Hmmm...

None of our business?

If those chunkheads go nuclear, the environmental impacts will most certainly be our business.

This may be the objective reality, but we need to consider the fact that Donald Trump is the North Star and Everything for @Taylor, so if Donald says one thing and every other life form in the universe says something else, obviously @Taylor will take Donald's side and assume that the entirety of the universe has got it wrong. I do not see how we can expect any other response.
