Trump could face more legal trouble after group finds evidence he inflated the value of his golf resorts – Raw Story

Yeah, I know. Hard to believe...

"An investigation into President Donald Trump’s financial information has uncovered that the president lied about the value of his Scottish and Irish golf resorts.

Politico reported Tuesday that three of his resorts had an intentionally inflated value in six years of financial records given to the U.S. government."

But wait...

“Trump claimed the resorts — Trump International Golf Links Aberdeen and Trump Turnberry, both in Scotland, and Trump Doonbeg in Ireland — brought in a total of about $179 million in revenue on U.S. documents where he is supposed to list his personal income,” wrote Politico’s Anita Kumar. “Records in the United Kingdom and Ireland indicate the resorts‘ revenues were millions of dollars less — about $152 million — and show they actually lost $77 million after accounting for expenses.”

He told us he would if elected run the country like he runs his businesses. At least he's keeping one campaign promise along with his five miles of new wall.

No way! This is totally out of character for Trump. Trump is an astute businessman, a man of honor. He graduated summa cuum laude from Wharton. He is a great American patriot. He went to Washington to drain the swamp and get rid of people in government who do this kind of thing.

Are people suggesting that there is a pattern here? Like he may have done this before? Impossible. This must be fake news. We must watch Fox and jump over to 4 chan QAnon sites to find the real truth.

Trump lied...

Does one really need to go further? Kind of like saying "The Sun rose this morning."

Now, if the article had said "Donald Trump was telling the truth about [X]," we should all sit up and take note.

Hence trump abusing the presidency by trying to use it to get Britain to put the British Open at his property. Can you name one Republican here who has criticized that abuse of power? Since they haven't, do they deserve to even be read?

the fiscal/small government/transparency conservatives have fallen silent (they were fakes).

pretty much all that remains (which is who most were anyway) are the social conservatives and modern day Confederates.

Of course Republicans would. Not Democrats. You think Democrats would allow trump, when they forced out a very good Senator, Al Franken, over nothing because he made a joke with his hands with a right-wing pundit on a tour to entertain troops. Republicans kept David Vitter; Democrats forced Anthony Weiner out.
