Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of China.

Economically, China was in a bad place until the US started helping them and buying their products. Trump was offering the same to Kim and Kim was working toward accepting.

All things considered Trump, and the rest of us for that matter, should enjoy Musk's embarrassment over at Twitter as it really did show yet another failure for DeSantis to be taken seriously.

Go to Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Xfinity online, and dozens of others and you have hundreds of thousands if not millions able to stream live video glitch free... then shuffle on over to Twitter and several hundred thousand had sound issues, streaming cut out issues, even blackouts trying to watch DeSantis announce his run using a chat with Musk.

Took something like a half hour to get things running, and even then problematic.

Trump's phrasing of things aside, including the asinine assumption Trump can turn North Korea into a capitalist society, this is not really about either one.

Musk failed... again. DeSantis failed... again. And I recall ole Carlson ran off to that platform to continue his venture at making as many people as angry as possible using conspiracy theory and hatred. Talk about your strange bedfellows.

AOC had no problem on Twitch. Two-and-a-half years ago.

Up until about 2 hours before DeSantis made it official, he would have been required to resign under Florida law. Naturally, the Republican majority Florida legislature quickly changed the law so DeSantis could run.

Even as it is, DeSantis ran for a second term as governor of Florida, a 4 year job which he was sworn into in January this year. If he becomes president he will have to reneg on his commitment to govern Florida for the next 4 years.

No big. The world has been shown very clearly that Floridians don't mind being kicked around by lawmakers.
