I have to agree with the smug person though. If you are the President- Elect and you have a Senate majority, not having the votes to get a Cabinet member confirmed is humiliating.
 
Only democrats with a far far left progressive mindset didn't think this was all part of the plan. No Gaetz, the sacrificial lamb, now goes back into the house because he won his election. Now Pam Bondi is going to be AG. I'm sure the left will cry foul and attack a woman now.
 
If not getting your picks is a problem, then democrats have been humiliated lots of times. But hey, I guess losers have to have something to talk about to keep them happy.

All it means is Republicans aren't empty suits acting like a hive mind.

But I expected this sort of contempt for real diversity from the left.
