You provided the article as evidence of a Trump deal, which is your claim.
Are you changing your story now?
What are his tariffs... Exactly? Lol
Give the exact countries. Products, amounts and timeframe they will. Apply
Are they guaranteed not to change?
That's what companies need to plan intelligently
Nope, all we are going to get is screwed.I thought we were getting tiny screw jobs back
Good catch! You do realize we can thank the Chips Act for that, correct? For those not up on such things, the Chips Act was a bi-partisan piece of legislation backed by the Biden administration designed to bring the semi-conductor industry back to the US and reduce our dependency on China and Taiway. How clever. If any country wanted to engineer its decline it would adopt the modern liberal agenda. Its almost working.
In general, it takes at least that long to find land to build manufacturing facilities, hire staff, and get operations up and running. Retrofitting existing facilities takes a fair amount of time also. The CHIPS Act was signed into law 2 1/2 years ago. If it was a response to that, it would've happened much sooner.
How much sooner? How soon should it take investors and/or board rooms to agree on an expensive, always risky plan? How long do the architectural plans for it take? How long does finding a suitable location take? Then how long does the required permits and studies take? How long before the first shovel hits the dirt? The CHIPS Act was signed into law 2 1/2 years ago. If it was a response to that, it would've happened much sooner.
Tell us you’ve never been a part of building anything…The CHIPS Act was signed into law 2 1/2 years ago. If it was a response to that, it would've happened much sooner
Let's ask Musk. How much sooner? How soon should it take investors and/or board rooms to agree on an expensive, always risky plan? How long do the architectural plans for it take?
