Except it wasn't a "proposed extension" to the weather map. He tried to portray it as an aspect of the official weather map when it was not. He lied.

The whiners here will scream liberal media but party line really doesn't protect one. Just remember Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean who yelled into a too close microphone and came out a ear piercing scream. That scream I believe cost him the primary.

You make some good points. One is that labeling is convenient and often accurate, but also unfair. Ford had been an athlete and really wasn't a klutz.

Ford had a bad rap with the klutz thing. I personally met him, and he was a wonderful person. Interesting, his popularity was about the same as Teflon Don. One term President

It's not about being offended. It's about right and wrong. It appears as though Trump's parents failed to teach him the most basic things that we are all taught as children such as common human decency, honor, integrity, thoughtfulness, conscientiousness, honesty, and respect. This incident involving the sharpie is only the most recent and most glaring example of Trump's moral failings.

Also, it's not just about morality, the fact that Trump is an inveterate liar has negative implications for the country as a whole on a wide variety of issues.
 
In the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, there is a quote: "The Guide is definitive. Reality is frequently inaccurate." Is it just me, or does that seem to be the Trump Presidency.

After saying something wrong, he could have said "Yeah, i made a slight error there. I'm sorry. My bad." That's what most people would do. Trump doubles down on the stupidity by altering a weather map and says "No, you're stupid. I'm ALWAYS right! I have never been wrong about anything!"

Not offended at all. Just amazed so many people prostrate themselves at the feet of this immature childlike figure, that lies constantly. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

At one time there would never be anyway you could convince me that americans could be that ignorant. Then he and his devotees came along and dispell that notion.

I think it's allowable to play arm chair psychologist on a debate forum if the POTUS is allowed to play chicken with the rest of the world.

Absolutely amazing to me the lengths his apologists will go. Why deny the evidence in front of your eyes?
