Trump 'didn't expect' to get laughed at while speaking at the UN

it would take Trump levels of ineptitude to collapse an economy that quickly.

Of course you would but as you have shown your judgement and inability to understand data doesn't help your crediblity

Not, I'm not going to even waste my time with your BS. But, I will, one more frickin' time.

I live in California, and I've lived in many states, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Illinois, and New York.

California is the best, so far. Every state has problems, so what else is new?

There are 39 million people who CHOOSE to live here. MORE than any other state.

There are more homeless here, yes, BECAUSE they choose to come here because it is BETTER here for them than anywhere than anywhere else.

There are more poor here, yes, because they choose to live hear because it is BETTER for them here than anywhere else.

There are more Rich people here, there is more of EVERYTHING here because it is BETTER here than anywhere else.

California is the 5th largest economy IN THE WORLD, and you are CLUELESS for not seeing the wisdom of my words here.

The weather is the best, our shorelines are world class, our parks are world class, everything about CA is world class.

There are more destination weddings held in CA than in any other state.

I deal with a lot of out of state people in my profession, and RARELY does anyone complain about our state when they visit. I get nothing but ENVY from them.

And I'll end on this note:

The GOP is a scam operation, and we will cream you guys in November. Trump is a despicable human being, and a criminal. As president, he's a CLOWN.

Yep, no question about it, the biggest state in the union is a bastion of illegal immigrants, the most in poverty, the most homeless, the greatest income gap in the country but that is ok since it doesn't affect you. You are like most I know from California totally oblivious to the problems in your state

So you are going to cream "us guys" in November, and do what with it? The GOP economic policies have been a total and complete failure as evidenced by the strong GDP growth, over 4 million jobs created in two years, GDP that will exceed 3% this fiscal year, and people getting to keep more of what they earn all of which are a total and complete flop

Isn't that 16 places lower? Aah who cares. The US has (coming up to) 329 million people, the Netherlands has 17 million and a bit, that is 19 times less people than the US has. We also have virtually no natural resources. We are a trading country.

And it has nothing to do with the Netherlands, but I have been following US politics since over 32 years, been heavily involved with discussions with and about the US and US related issues (like Natalee Holloway/Schiavo and many other things), have been reading US media and watching US news shows for year and years. I love politics, both Dutch, UK, American and German politics.

I like the US even if I do not like the current president. My best friend on earth lives in the US (is American, ROLL TIDE, I cannot mention her without stating that LOL).

As said I do not dislike any other poster (almost none at least) and I do not "hate" Trump. I just disagree with him and his personality, I did not even like his TV show (and I am a US television show addict, cannot say it any other way), I preferred Lord Sugar who is a real self made billionaire. Sure he is not as rich as Trump but he started with a small loan from his grandmother while trading from a council flat in Hackney.

I just do not like how Trump treats people. Like John McCain and many others. I may not have liked Bush Jr.'s politics but I respected him much more than I respect Trump.

I am not used to these kinds of politics and I am horrified at how a lot of US politicians now are saying the exact opposite when they were talking before Trump.

Got it, you are use to having politicians tell you what you want to hear and cater to countries around the world, true politicians that created the problems we face in this country. Now we have a President that puts this country first and that drives people like you crazy. Whether you respect Trump or not is irrelevant, the results trump that attitude of yours and others. Not being used to these politics is truly the issue, this President isn't going to be a punching bag like Bush and McCain were and is going to punch back

i backed up my argument with data. you deflected, moved goalposts, and tried to talk your way around it. you should consider quoting someone else next time.

No sorry you didn't, your charts don't show what you think they show and totally ignore the Democratic Congress, the failure of the stimulus in 2009, and the fact that employment went down 3 million two years later. Is this the way you operate in real life?

i did back up my argument. you are wrong. you need to deal with that and slink away.

So you say, why don't you tell us exactly what those charts you posted tell us? And compare the numbers to the pre recession numbers since that is why Obama was hired? I always deal with reality, you on the other hand fantasy. Cannot wait for your interpretation

They show me that you shouldn't quit your day job.

And you show me you are all talk and no action. For someone so passionate and a believer of the so called charts you seem to have a problem posting the so called results you say show the Obama success.

it's not a fantasy that Obama inherited a collapsed economy and that Trump inherited a good one. i have supported my argument. your refusal to recognize this does not bend reality.

Then you shouldn't have any problem answering the question

i have no problem defending my argument. would you like me to link you to the data again?

Anyway, back to the subject of the thread.

trump said throughout the campaign that "America is a laughingstock". Little did we know it was actually a self-fulfilling prophecy. America is a laughingstock because of trump!

:lamo

Can you people BE any more ridiculous?

At :47seconds into the video SOMEONE (not audible in the video) says SOMETHING about Trumps comments. He jokingly responded to the comment, and people laughed and applauded.

Its in the video FFS.

But thew same ****ing morons that **** themselves over EVERYTHING he does NOW are too stupid to understand that his joking COMMENT in response to the initial disparaging comment (whatever it was and whoever said it) was meant to illicit the laughter that it did, not the speech itself. UNLESS of course they are stupid enough to believe that Trump scripted the 'So true' and "didnt expect that reaction, but OK" comments.

The most delightful part of this, and I not sure whether to call it irony or karma, maybe a bit of both. Trump before he became President was fond of saying, or tweeting, that the whole world is laughing at America. And now that has literally just happened. And look who it was that it happened to. You can't make this stuff up!

That is because you don't know what a laughingstock truly means, Trump does, being used by other countries and rolling over. Liberalism is a success in making us that laughing stock that Trump is reversing

I have seen your data and am waiting for you to explain what you see. You claim that he inherited a mess, what do the numbers show that would lead you to believe he was a success in turning the economy around?

Yep, trump is following in the footsteps of Woodrow Wilson. His isolationism got us into WWI. Liberalism has nothing to do with it. It's ignorance and stupidity.

Woodrow Wilson didn't have a 19.5 trillion-dollar economy and a world dependent on us for goods, services, and defense. You buy everything the left tells you and totally ignores the abuse this country is taken from foreign powers you're about to see a major change and I thank Trump for making most Americans aware of the problem.

The laughing did not stop with that first crap that he said. 22 minutes later and Germany finds the president very entertaining.

Wait a minute...

Around the 22:39 mark, did Pres. Trump say "foreign investments" was a threat to national security? I think he meant "foreign immigrants" or something to that affect since soon afterwards he began speaking about immigration policy matters. That would make more sense.

Watching 45 the past few days is kinda like what it be if Rain Man was POTUS.

So the invisible and inaudible commenter is "in the video"? Uh-huh.
What exactly was this comment he was responding to?

What year did we start making our river gunboats in China?
