Trump Books Keep Coming, and Readers Can’t Stop Buying

Newspaper endorsements are a thing of the past. Hell, nobody trusts the mainstream media anymore.

If all these books are coming out, why are there so many anonymous sources when it comes to Trump?

Nope. If he’s re-elected which is a distinct possibility, the reaction from the resistance types will be worse than you can imagine.

I doubt that. This is going to be so decisive it will flatten things for a while.
 
Trump is an interesting POTUS, so its not a surprise that tell-all books about him are hitting the bestseller list. Im sure a lot of his friends and family have been approached by agents for a book contract. In this genre its normal to exaggerate and sensationalize mundane stuff to make it appear important or newsworthy- towing just below the line of libel so you dont get sued. Im sure most (if not all) of these works are ghostwritten too.

Well, also I think after Trump it would be prudent for the rest of us to start looking at the disaster and learning from it- things like looking carefully at our current system of checks and balances against other potentially abusive and exploitative presidents in the future, so this doesn’t happen again. For example, how can we re-set up the DOJ so it doesn’t become the president’s personal law firm and “fixer” again in the future?

We can use this period of the Trump catastrophe as a learning experience and grow from it to become a better nation- if we get the chance.

Trump has, by exploiting every weakness in the system, exposed them. Let’s fix them now while we still have the chance- because there WILL be other Donald Trumps in the future.

Absolutely. One thing the current system of checks and balances relies on is that people sort of act like adults.

Yes. Trump was sort of a stress test of the system- how does it work when absolutely stretched beyond the limits of what it was intended for, or even imagined it would ever have to endure. Obviously, many parts of it gave out this time. So now we know. Let’s make sure we address those weaknesses so it doesn’t happen again.
