We didn't get played. Trump has a team of attorneys who dreamed up this scheme. Trump couldn't think his way out of a paper bag. It could happen with any president. She still has to eventually go through senate confirmation.

She is unqualified and the perhaps the dumbest US Attorney in government. All that matters to MAGA and Trump is the big Mammary Glands and the cute face. Prerequisites for the Trump admin.

There is nothing corrupt about a handful of experienced judges seeing the train wreck that is Haba. She's unqualified for any government position let alone a US Attorney. The judges were doing their jobs utilizing the laws passed by congress.

How is that corrupt?

The President can nominate anyone he wants, but the Senate can say no.

(Not that this Senate will say "no", but that doesn't change Trump doesn't have a "right".)

And actually Trump pulled her nomination for the US Attorney slot.

The article below says that Trump had to pull her nomination to then be able to place her in an "Acting" capacity. That the nominee had to be pulled because the law didn't an individual to be both "acting" and "nominee" at the same time.

NO.

Habba stated that she intended to use her position to "turn New Jersey red".
You could not have a more clear definition of political corruption.
There is ZERO reason to believe that they judges involved here were in any way corrupt.
Habba has no relevance experience, has never been prosecutor, and her stated goal was to abuse her office for political purposes.
That she was dumb enough to say so out loud should make you question her intelligence, too.
