Trump asked for a list of our spies, stole and kept HUMINT info, the CIA alerted offices that large #s of spies were being killed/captured and...

There were many warnings about electing Trump for various reasons. Everyone laughed them off. Now we see how correct they were. Everyone should go back and listen again to Adam Schiff's closing statement from the first impeachment. He warned us all in plain language that if Trump wasn't convicted, he would do it all again and much worse. All the republicans laughed him off.

And we have now come to the point where all those warnings were correct and then some. Republicans who have enabled this piece of shit criminal president will have the blood on their hands. I hope they all are sleeping well.

I don't disagree with any of that- but there is a big difference between compromising our intelligence community out of shear ignorance, versus intentional act. Trump clearly seems guilty of the former, but doubtful as to the latter.

As for our enemies not playing their hand, yea I bet you are right. Kinda' like after the allies had broken Germany's unbreakable enigma code during WWII, Churchill did not want any covert or military action based upon what we learned unless we could provide a plausible story as to how we knew it without letting the germans know what we really knew.

And on an unrelated topic, this fiasco might be the most obvious proof that Trump was right when he claimed he could shoot someone on 5th Ave. in NYC and not lose any support.

I'm praying....I'm salivating at the hope they get solid intelligence Trump was selling these names to our enemies. That'd put him right up there with Benedict Arnold and the Rosenbergs in our history books as the most treasonous American who ever lived. If he could get elected after that it'd clearly show his supporters are worse than delusional, they are psychotic.

If they can prove he was selling information, (I hesitate to think Trump would be that stupid), he'd be charged with treason. There would be no more elections in his future.

This of course means that for anybody with a brain not trying to burn the Republic to the ground, regardless of an Indictment coming Trump's way or not, he should never ever be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office or any elected office of responsibility ever again.

Again, I think that first part is highly unlikely. If for no other reason than he can probably continue grifting of his delusional base and earn a lot more than he could from selling secrets to our enemies. And without the risk of facing a lifetime behind bars.

His ability to turn all of his screw ups into money making ventures might just be the most successful business model Trump has ever implemented.

Fortunately for us, not enough American citizens are that dumb in my estimation. Those that are can live in their fantasy or attempt another Coup this time with the country's antenna up and not much tolerance for it. Go ahead, see if you won't be met with actual firepower this time.

I am guessing that my assessment of Trump's political future is about ten nanoseconds ahead of a very similar and widely accepted assessment, so widely accepted that there is nothing left of a Donnie political future.

Right now all the "buzz" and sizzle is about whether Donnie will be prosecuted. Once there is a determination there whether prosecuted or not, reality will start to sink in regarding Donnie's actual political future or lack thereof in light of this documents mess if nothing else.

Bring on Ronnie who is in some ways equally threatening. His threat is more of a domestic nature and resides in the realm of more goofy executive action such as what he is trying to pull in Florida.

Agreed. And we know as detached from reality as Trump his, he may never accept/concede he has no future. But others like Desantis will have to run knowing Trump can't win. Which will make for probably the most interesting/entertaining primary battle in the history of modern politics.
