Not really. Remember that djt elevated a line agent to be head of his detail and then promoted him onto the WH staff. The IG oversees the SS, but I'm not sure that he is a part of the SS.
 

DHS watchdog refuses to recuse himself from missing Jan. 6 texts inquiry, draws fresh rebukes from lawmakers​


Inspector General Joseph Cuffari said in a letter made public Tuesday that he would not share investigative documents or allow his top lieutenants to sit for transcribed interviews before House committees investigating the attack, nor would he provide documents that lawmakers requested.

This doesn't mean we should excuse or overlook illegal activity by Trump or his supporters, but it is to say that it's smart to keep your mouth shut when the dems and media are engaging in a witch hunt.

The DHS IG isn’t part of the Secret Service, and even though he is appointed as a member of DHS, he has independent authorities and responsibilities.

If he refuses to fulfill the duties of his position, POTUS can fire him.

It's too bad Assange was put in jail without due process. He could probably find those texts like he did Clinton's emails that were erased.
Or maybe you liberals might try looking on Anthony Wiener's or Hunter's laptop. They could be there.

The neocon inspired fox news and talk radio bubble is dead. What exists now is pure American Nationalism among conservatives and moderate liberals. Neocons and you leftists can't stop what's coming.
