“Race card” is what Republicans play when serious discussion of race is started. To a Republican, even mentioning race in any manner is immediately met with accusations of “race card”. The reason is because they are afraid to talk about race because they know that they still harbor some latent racism. Trump insulted blacks in general today, and in particular Kamala Harris, when he said that she did not claim to be black until she started in politics.
