No, they're pathetic politicians who are tterrified of the monster their media created for them that trump grabbed ahold of and isn't letting go.

They have tied their narratives too tightly to trumps nonsense to be able to disentangle them smoothly.

And he is pitching a fit while holding their reins, promising to turn his minions against them the next time they're up for election.

This is all that this actually is. Everything else is smoke and mirrors and lights and sound, the kind of stuff I work with every day when their isn't a pandemic.

All part of a show. Designed to manipulate. That has worked a treat, I must admit.
