TRUMP and BIDEN: A Tale Of Two Christians

Conservative Judaism hasn’t changed in thousands of years? Now I know you have no ****ing clue what you are talking about.

and i suppose you are the Judaism expert?

basically i did a Evangelism course in Judaism and Islam. for Judaism you run potential converts thru their Bible showing them that Jesus IS the messiah.

when they get that correct, then work on Salvation.

the Old Testament is full of scripture pointing to Jesus, Isaiah 53 plainly points to Jesus as Messiah. in fact rumor has it that Rabbis avoid that chapter when dealing with their Congregation.

since i have very little contact with Jewish people currently, i forget some of the finer points on dealing with them. Everybody NEEDS salvation, so i really don't care what their hang ups are. God really deals with them, i am just the mail carrier.

Pray tell, how many animal sacrifices do Conservative Jews perform each year?

probably none...........but they will; the Red Heifers are waiting in Israel and closely guarded. that red heifer is a miracle to even find a perfect one. Quest you are surrounded by miracles.

i am just another miracle in your path.

WOW, evidence needed? here is a Boat Load....

What do five red heifers have to do with the Oct. 7 massacre?

Feb 25, 2024The red cows being referred to are the five Red Angus heifers imported from Texas in September 2022 through a joint effort established between a Christian ministry, ... Their diligence paid off as they found not only one but five blemish-free red heifers, without more than two black or white

Uh-Huh. - Sure He is. -

👇

ok fine Logic

my guess is that traditionally they supported the Blue Criminals; Orange guy was blue and switched sides, now is faking it as a Red criminal, so they bailed on him

Trump moved our Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, should have gained him some points.

wait a month and see what new Criminal team gets selected before commenting on this.

Trump Uses Antisemitism Speech to Unload on American Jews

Sep 20, 2024 · Mr. Trump on Thursday offered an extended airing of grievances against Jewish Americans who have not voted for him.

The kvetching descended into a distinct self-pitying whine:

I definitely know enough about Judaism to know that Conservative Judaism has changed massively in the last several thousand years. Even Orthodox Judaism isn't the same as it was even a few hundred years ago. Which means I'm infinitely more educated on the topic than you, even assuming you aren't a Poe.

The Jews who support rebuilding the Temple have zero power in Israel and make up a tiny portion of the population. They aren't going to force the destruction of the Al Asqa Mosque and the rebuilding of the Temple over the will of the majority.

There has been so many attacks on Trump, as far as his being a Christian is concerned, which I see as based on bias and therefore, unfair.

When Trump was asked if he had repented of his sins, he said that he just didn't sin.

That's sort of what you might call "core", right there.

You are absolutely right on Biden and abortion.

And Paul was absolutely right when he wrote:

1 Cor 5:
...9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. 12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church[b] whom you are to judge? 13 God judges[c] those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”...

With the exception of "drunkard", Trump fits every item on that list, and (his words) he is unrepentant. Indeed - he brags about how he cheats on his wives with married women in his books. And he claims the title of Christian?

Christ and Christ's Church is slandered by that tie. Christians - especially Evangelicals, who are supposed to take God's Word seriously - should obey Scripture's command, and purge him from our midst.

* If your response is "But David" - David admitted and repented of his sin, and it still ripped Israel in two.

* If your response is "But Cyrus" - Cyrus did not claim the title of Christian or Jew, and does not, therefore, fall under God's command to us in 1 Cor 5.

As you note in your OP - Trump claims the title of Christian. Those of us who follow Christ should love and honor Him more than to allow him to be so smeared without objection and (in obedience to Scripture) rejection.

That many Evangelicals have refused to do so only serves to highlight that the "conservative" branch of the American church has been as thoroughly captured by their surrounding culture as the "progressive" branch has been. :(

I'm telling you - the difference is very clear!
For some reason, we can see it quite clearly!
Perhaps, we're meant to!

While she's talking about implementing and justifying murder to a cheering crowd..............

Christian yells: JESUS IS LORD!

Harris: oh you guys are at the wrong rally! No I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.

In a way.............................. she's got that right!

After all, the policies that she's going to implement are mostly anti-Christ's...................

JESUS MUST BE.................. WITH....................... THE SMALLER RALLY DOWN THE STREET.

It has nothing to do with the size.
It's all about which policy is more aligned with GOD's.

So Christians - take that as a sign.

When you have Harris PROMOTING murder to a cheering crowd, PROMOTING sexual immorality, etc. that are practically oppose to the statutes of God.....
....and when you have her minions like Gretchen Whitmer, mocking the Holy Communion.........

.....lol, how daft can a person be who'd overlook those and instead harp about Trump's comment about his own belief?

Read my lips, folks!

It wouldn't matter if TRUMP is an atheist!

GOD had used a pagan king for His purpose! So why can't He use an atheist?
DUH!

Can you pathetic few just keep rolling that around your head.....................and hope it will resonate, and you'll understand!
:)

It's the policies, that matters!

Only the very daft wouldn't get what it means when we say.................IT'S ABOUT THE POLICIES! DUH!

I'm not going to go around in circles and keep answering questions that have been answered before.
Folks, read the OP.

Many here are simply trying to distract from the point of this thread.

The USA was founded by Christians for a reason.
The USA was founded on Christian principles for a reason.
The USA is a democracy for a reason.
The USA became a world's leader for a reason.
The USA became a beacon to the world. An INFLUENCER, for a reason.

Go back to the Bible!
What are we Christians instructed to do?

SPREAD THE GOSPEL!

Those of us who were born to a democracy, should feel so blessed!
You're not under Communism!
You're not under Sharia law! Or, any other dictatorial laws !

God has made it easy for the USA to spread the WORD!
To teach about CHRIST! To the world!

And, your free will to choose, can be exercised.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH and RELIGION, are at stake.
DEMOCRACY, is at stake!

Christians, you better believe it that we are facing a spiritual warfare.

Christians - a must watch, from beginning to end.

I'm not going to judge people based on their personal sins.
Boy - I probably have had more sins than he did!
And, I'm still sinning.
Who isn't?
Who has reached perfection?

Furthermore, what do I know about his own PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God.
God has not been privvy with me, talking about Trump's status as a Christian in His eyes.
You?
Did I miss the memo?

Has God talked to you about Trump?

What I do know............................ his policies are more aligned with GOD's.
And he's trying to protect our liberties of speech and religion.

Who am I to judge and say, he's not?

If I say he isn't a Christian because he's a sinful man - well, I can say the same to everyone of us!

What are you saying?
You're going to have a scoreboard - and you'll keep score of Trump's sins? 😁
Will you do the same with Harris?

How do you know which of the two is more sinful......................may I ask.

Those of us who follow Christ should love and honor Him more than to allow him to be so smeared without objection and (in obedience to Scripture) rejection.

That's the point, isn't it?

We love and honor Him that we wouldn't allow anyone to twist His teachings......................... and let anyone make a mockery and caricature of Christianity.

We, as Christians, should teach and spread the gospel..............................in all its truth, which can be referenced from the Bible.

John 8:7

And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them,

“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Really? Lying, cheating, fraud, felonies align with "God's policies?"
And he's trying to protect our liberties of speech and religion.
Didn't he say he would be "dictator for a day" or threaten to use the military to go after political adversaries and those who mock him? That's what police states do, the exact opposite of protecting liberties. For him to brag about that shows just how unhinged the man is!

So, tell me: in order to be a Christian, does one have to acknowledge and repent of their sin?

God has not been privvy with me, talking about Trump's status as a Christian in His eyes.
You?
Did I miss the memo?

Has God talked to you about Trum[/p?

He did indeed tell us about how to deal with People like Trump. For example, in 1 Cor 5. Why do you justify being disobedient to Scripture?

Who am I to judge and say, he's not?

You are commanded to do so.

Who are you?

1 Cor 5:12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”
1 Cor 6: 2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

You are told explicitly to judge those who claim the title Christian and, if they show lives of unrepentant sin (as Trump does, boasting in his sin), to reject their company and disavow their membership, lest the name of Christ and His Church be smeared by their (and your) actions.

And you choose to ignore that command. Is that how Evangelicals are supposed to treat Scripture? As something that isn't inerrant? As something that isn't God's word? As something that we can safely ignore? As something we can put aside when it becomes politically inconvenient?

If I say he isn't a Christian because he's a sinful man

In order to be a Christian, do you have to acknowledge your sin and repent?

- well, I can say the same to everyone of us!

You are commanded the following:

...9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.

And you are refusing to obey God, because it would hinder your loyalty to a man.

Mind you - you are far from alone in this. The evangelical movement has turned out to be just as worldly as our Progressive brethren. They trip over themselves to deny and ignore the scripture that is inconvenient for their political leanings.... and evangelicals do the same.

:(

So, tell me: in order to be a Christian, does one have to acknowledge and repent of their sin?

Yes.

And?

You're saying, you repented ...............................and therefore............................... you don't sin anymore?

RIGHT?

You are commanded to do so.

Who are you?

1 Cor 5:12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”

That's why I'm asking you!

You're saying, you repented ...............................and therefore............................... you don't sin anymore?

It's my way of having you see that you can be judged by others too.

The same rules that you're applying to Trump, can be applied to you.

So, if someone doesn't acknowledge and repent of their sin, they are not a Christian?

ANSWER THE QUESTION!

You repented ...............................and therefore............................... you don't sin anymore?

Is that what you're saying?

ANSWER THE QUESTION!

You repented ...............................and therefore............................... you don't sin anymore?

Is that what you're saying?
So anyone who claims to be a Christian is suddenly a Christian? Because they said so? I suppose some people are gullible enough to believe anything.

So, if someone doesn't acknowledge and repent of their sin, they are not a Christian?

Unless you answer the question - we're not going anywhere!

You're the one who brought up repentance!
That's how you're trying to convict Trump - who claims to be a Christian.

I don't want to mislead others into thinking that becoming a Christian would mean that we wouldn't be sinning anymore!

Imagine how devastated and guilt-ridden a Christian who feels that way!

I don't want to make Christianity into something IMPOSSIBLE to achieve!

GOD made it so simple for us!
HE DIED for our sins...............and His forgiveness is UNLIMITED!

This politics isn't going to change what we know from the Bible!
It shouldn't!

That makes sin and repentance redundant then.

We love and honor Him that we wouldn't allow anyone to twist His teachings......................... and let anyone make a mockery and caricature of Christianity.

By, for example, claiming to be a Christian while in fact neither acknowledging or repent of one's sin.

When Trump claims the title of Christian while living an unrepentant life of adultery, revenge, narcissism, etc., exulting in these things, he is making a mockery and a worst form of caricature of Christianity. It is the opposite of Christ telling us to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, remain humble, give offense to none, that we may not be a stumbling block to any.

How many people in the United States can never hear the Gospel now, because Evangelicals have taught them that Christianity includes bragging about cheating on your wives with married women, spewing vitriol at your "enemies" and pride. :(

This is a shameful moment. Satan himself could not bring the Church into ill-repute as effectively as Christians do. And we fail our Lord when we do so. :(

John 8:7
And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them,
“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

You may want to check that verse before you try to use it as a fig leaf for Trump.

That makes sin and repentance redundant then.

God knows what's in the heart.
No one can fool Him.

Christians will struggle with temptation throughout their lives until they die.
All of us will fail and succumb to temptation at some point or another.
BUT, by the grace of GOD - because of the sacrifice He made for us - His forgiveness is unlimited.

Let God worry about Trump's sins.

You may want to answer the simple question.

You repented .....................and therefore.......................... you don't sin anymore?

God knows what's in the heart.
No one can fool Him.

Christians will struggle with temptation throughout their lives until they die.
All of us will fail and succumb to temptation at some point or another.
BUT, by the grace of GOD - because of the sacrifice He made for us - His forgiveness is unlimited.
That doesn't really change what I said. If God is so forgiving, then it doesn't really matter if one sins or repents or not. The end result is the same.

Unless you answer the question - we're not going anywhere!

I did answer the question

IF, in order to be a Christian, you have to acknowledge and repent of your sin
THEN, those who do not acknowledge or repent of their sin are not Christians.

You're the one who brought up repentance!
That's how you're trying to convict Trump - who claims to be a Christian.

Because he does not acknowledge or repent of his sin, instead boasting and exulting in it.

We are commanded to judge those who claim the title of Christian, and, in such instances, purge them from among us, and refuse to associate with them.

And you refuse to obey the Command of God, given to us in Scripture. Why? :(

I don't want to mislead others into thinking that becoming a Christian would mean that we wouldn't be sinning anymore!

No one has claimed so, making this a straw man. We are talking about acknowledging and repenting of one's sin, which Trump does not do.

That doesn't really change what I said. If God is so forgiving, then it doesn't really matter if one sins or repents or not. The end result is the same.

That would be like saying,.....................if GOD knows everything - it doesn't really matter if you pray or not.
Praying, is an act of humility.
Asking for God's forgiveness and repenting, is an act of humility.

We acknowledge our dependence on God.
