Trump administration poised to accept 'palace in the sky' as a gift for Trump from Qatar: Sources (1 Viewer)

This entire Trump era is easier to understand when you just go ahead and accept that almost all of his supporters lack the basic morals that decent people have.

They have no moral compass and they don't care that they have no moral compass. While, of course, swearing they're the good people.

The world has seen this move time and time again.
Here is a bit more for your entertainment:
And a year ago in September, Davis wrote one of several tweets denouncing the high-road response to Republican attacks advocated by former First Lady Michelle Obama.

“Screw they go low, we go high bull***t,” he tweeted. “When @NCGOP extremists go low, we stomp their scrawny pasty necks with our heels and once you hear the sound of a crisp snap you grind your heel hard and twist it slowly side to side for good measure

Stomp their necks and grind in the heel of your boot,” said one Davis tweet from May 2019. “Say, ‘have a nice day!’ as you walk away if you’re determined to be polite

Who is Moe Davis?

Who is Moe Davis?
Moe Davis is a private citizen running for Representative of the N.C. Eleventh District. His foul language is of no or little consequence to the American public.

Donald Trump is President of the United States. He is a sexual abuser, con-man, and convicted felon. His anti-democratic, unconstitutional behavior has dire consequences for the American public.

@TamleeB has problems with Moe Davis as shown in her four posts about him. She supports Donald Trump.

check out post 197. The name was actually presented to me. And I was gracious enough to engage in a conversation with the poster whom posted to me. I don’t recall his post was to you? Anyways….I researched and followed up with a response on Mr. Davis. He sounds a fun one to have at a party. ;)

In 2017, Trump said Qatar was a funder of terrorism. He said they should stop.

So I guess he meant they should fund him instead.

I actually didn’t bring Mr. Davis and all his loveliness into this discussion. But I will say it was enlightening reading about him.

What? No longer any interest in Mr. Davis. I am so very disappointed. :ROFLMAO:

Oh….and I have no problems with Moe. I encourage him to keep up his present evaluations. They are indeed very colorful. Didn’t you enjoy them?

I was just asking who he was because I never heard of him. Or millions of other people.

This wouldn't fly in the private sector either. Every year I have to take an ethics course to go over this precise kind of scenario. If I, as an employee of a company can't accept free trips from a vendor, then an almost half a billion dollar plane is probably not acceptable for the president of a nation. Fortunately the Constitution spells it out pretty clearly.

I don't have much hope re: Emoluments Clause. Richard Painter, a former ethics lawyer for George W. Bush, was part of the CREW team that brought suit ( link ) against Trump in his first term over Trump's hotel and the Emoluments Clause. It failed. The SC ordered the lower court to dismiss the case. Although this is more egregious than the hotel corruption, I suspect the SC would decide in Trump's favor again.

If so, then we really are on the decline. I do think the fact that this is so egregious, they will probably have to think about this differently.

Oh, I see. What's changed are some random "what ifs" the left is inventing. You can probably come up with a very long list like this.
Because the library is definitely just going to have massive expensive private jet just lying around.

The modfications will take so long Trump will never use it as AF One.

WOW! he was speaking with complete sentences! Clearly for once he was actually reading what was written for him instead of just winging it

Yeah, his brain halfway worked 8 years ago.

Nothing to see here, just a foreign country openly bribing the president. Again, I must say that the openness of this man's corruption is just so refreshing!

Sounds like a bribe....there is nothing in life that is free..and certainly not from Qatar.

Likely because Moe Davis has absolutely zero power and doesn’t hold any elected office at this juncture.

He’s irrelevant
