Yes, all the upcoming job losses to American companies due to reduced trade volume from tariffs (and the murder of USAID) are "foreign jobs."

Those American workers are going to miss them, though.

The vast majority of the value of a good is outside of the cost to have it produced. That vast majority of value is paid to Americans. Furniture made in Vietnam or meat packed in some plant in Illinois staffed with lower paid workers leads to lots of American jobs.

That piece of furniture made in Vietnam is shipped here providing dockworker jobs, trucking jobs, warehouse jobs, sales floor jobs, IT jobs to manager their systems, and lots of other jobs (marketing, advertising money etc) that fuels the US economy and employs Americans. I pointed this out to people on this board months ago that XX number of dollars for imported goods is only a fraction of it's impact on the US economy...pretty basic stuff, and had MAGA people argue with me.

It's even worse when you consider entire US industries are only doable in the US because of the cheap labor we bring in to work those jobs. The entire US ag industry and a big portion on the building industry is much more affordable due to these workers.

MAGA is one of the dumbest political movements that has ever tortured this country.

No we don't. Just because a job is open and people are unemployed does not mean that job will be filled. Your economic knowledge could almost fill a thimble.
