Trump: VP Can Reject Fraudulently Chosen Electors
Vice President Mike Pence has the authority to reject the Electoral College results, President Donald Trump tweeted on Tuesday. "The Vice President has the power to reject fraudulently chosen electors," the president wrote. His tweet followed a report in The New York Times...
Trump, the insane lunatic that he has become, is about to throw Pence under the bus and blame him for his election loss.
He now buys into the false idea that the VP, as President of The Senate, can pick and choose which Electoral Ballots to count and then call for the Congress to certify or appeal. This is of course a lie, all the VP can do is count the number of legally certified Electoral votes that were officially sent in by the States. He has no authority to pick and choose which ones he think are legitimate and which ones are fraudulent. Pence made this very clear when he objected to the Federal lawsuit arguing this very issue.
So Pence will announce 306 Electoral votes for Biden, some of those votes will be contested by the House and Senate will NOT approve the appeal, and the 306 votes for Biden will stand.
What's Trump going to do? Attempt to fire Pence? Call him a traitor? Its possible.
