Meanwhile, obedient Christians are supposed wait for Jehovah's heavenly kingdom, which is the only cure for mankind's ills. God's heavenly kingdom will destroy all other kingdoms/governments, including the earthly kingdoms/governments that you and other disobedient people insist on voting into political office. Your votes won't change a thing, because Satan the Devil is running the show, with Jehovah's permission.

While that might be a comfort for you to just sit and wait your fate I remain unconvinced that supposed obedience outweighs personal and Christian responsibility……..what happened to “being your brother’s keeper” and the lesson of the Good Samaritan ?

Since you want to thumb your nose at Biblical instruction, suit yourself and keep voting people into political offices--in a world that scripture repeatedly says Satan the Devil is ruling.

Yes or no can only be answered if one accepts the parameters that you have set which I do not accept. You view the kingdom as an established on earth kingdom….whereas I view it as the kingdom within which is much closer and is in the here and now. People have been praying for your kingdom for 2,000 years with no sign of progress….in fact it seems increasingly further away. You personify Satan as an external being apparently. If there is fault it is the fault within us…..and for me it starts with the ego. Our ego separates us both from our fellow man as well and more importantly from God. Until the Spirit inspires you to seek oneness with God the kingdom will never be realized. Jonah 2:8….”Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” Do not be entrapped by your ego and/or a literal understanding of scripture that does not see the spiritual meaning. Remember that grace is given to the humble and that God opposes the proud……and the proud are identified by what ? By having a big ego which if Satan is real is the best tool in his toolbox….

At Post 752 where I asked you the "YES or NO" question, I quoted Jesus saying his kingdom is no part of this world while he was on earth in human form.

Please don't tell me you thought Jesus was referring to an earthly government after he said that. Look at his last sentence in that verse: "my Kingdom is not from this source."



FYI: A kingdom is a form of government. The only difference is that a kingdom is ruled by a king. But it's still a form of government.
