Nope.. not true at all. Government insurances..like medicare and Medicaid.. deny payment after the fact all the time. In fact.. for a long time... we would not accept Medicaid because even though treatment was preauthorized.. after we provided the care.. and billed for it..months later..we would be denied payment.

Think about this. I just save your life after wrapping your car around a tree. You are walking around and typing on the computer because of what I have done. I probably get maybe 10,000 profit on saving your life.

Because they didn't like the taxes they had to pay on their healthcare plans.

First there are no gatekeeper laws. Gatekeeper policies are the policy of the insurance companies. Not the law..and it depends on the healthcare system on whether they are beneficial or not. Well sir.. you are going to have to help me out on this one. First..yes the ACA had provisions that made people that had excellent healthcare insurance.. have to pay extra taxes on them. So.. please explain why it makes sense..when you are trying to get people to have more and better healthcare insurance... you are going to tax them more when they have better healthcare insurance? That wasn't just a problem for executives and doctors.. it was also a problem for tens of thousands of union workers who had good but expensive healthcare insurance benefits. Benefits that were hardfought and usually came as a result of other concessions the unions had to make.

So you will have to explain why doctors being against taxing people because they have expensive or good insurance.. is against the Hippocratic oath?

Some of the worst offenders are the illegal aliens. None are licensed or trained but are taking advantage of the elderly who are looking for that lower price. It is a very sad situation and dangerous to those using these people. Always use a licensed professional and almost all larger or expensive repairs require a permit and inspection. The inspection is your way of making sure at least the job is done right by a qualified individual. Price is unfortunately not regulated.
