There are far more cisgender criminals and rapists. Trans people are subject to among the highest rates of hate crimes because of who they are. They are not a crime spree.

The HRT that trans people take is proof that they cant be rapists because it ends their sex drive.

The goals depend on who the person is and the subset they belong to.
It ranges from being treated with respect to the destruction of gender identity all the way to having severe mental issues that having nothing to do with being transgender.

Europe is at the forefront of trans studies and they are largely reversing course with respects to treatment plans they had in place before for children.

Here's an actual study on it, but I am not sure you can discuss this at this level.

We know this. Exploiting fake "culture issues" is a standard get-out-the-vote tactic for Republicans.

The GOP has long whipped up fear and anger and animosity toward "others" as a way of mobilizing its base.

Its politically motivated. They are used to pause puberty for a short time while the patient and treatment team come to the conclusion if the patient is or isn't transgender. When they are stopped them puberty naturally begins again if hormones therapy isn't began.

Which is why Democrats are cowards for not challenging Trump on this. The Democrats have no bravery to confront this issue head on. The Democrats skirted on LGBT issues before and they'll keep skirting until they have to deal with them. People accuse the Democrats on running an anti-Trump platform? Why not have them run on a pro-LGBT platform instead?

Its certainly possible. Based on my online conversations with many trans individuals I find they have trouble with that. Which is not a surprise.
