Cannibles and child molesters exist in society. That doesn't mean we as a society choose to accept them.

That is an outrageous comparison. Child molesters and cannibals harm people which is the reason they should not be accepted in society. Transgendered people on the other hand harm no one. The only inconvenience they cause is that they question the prevailing gender norms which I see as a rather positive thing, since we all benefit from being challenged in our beliefs.

Still waiting for why we should accept cross-dressers as a norm in society.

Back in the good old days people were also asking why we should accept blacks, jews, atheists, social democrats or homosexuals as a norm in society.

You completely missed the point that there are judgments on behavior that society does make. I gave those two examples to prove it doesn't work to claim "they aren't hurting anyone" and think that is a sufficient argument to allow a crossdresser to enter the norm.

When you can prove cross dressers actually have a genetic predisposition to dress like the opposite sex, give us a call. Until then, its nothing more than a personal choice so the question still stands. Why should cross dressers be accepted as part of the norm?

And she is neither of those. Care to actually talk about the topic? She is also not a cross dresser, she has undergone 6 surgeries in her (legal) transformation. She is also not the norm, nor is any one claiming she is. She is though not breaking any laws, and deserves all the same chances at success as any one.

She is a she currently. She dresses appropriate for a female. If you know of some work rule she is actually violating, please feel free to document it. As is, there is no evidence that she is breaking any rule.

So if you want your claims to have merit, you need to start bringing something to the table. You, by your very arguments say that to change the laws, you need strong proofs. Well, the law allows transgenderism, so get busy showing why we need to change the laws. Transgendered people are allowed to work for the government, so if you don't like them there, you need to show why they should not be there. Get busy on that.

Who gives a damn, she had a birth defect, she took teh steps to correct it and is moving on with her life. Don't tear her down for that. I'm not saying accept her choice to fix the problem as NORMAL, but damn... let her be.
