Appreciate/props for getting me on a watchlist, because I guegle-fu'd the acronym. Not a miniature hydrogen bomb. A VBIED.

The bomb was not a nuke. Get a grip. This hasn't fully sunk in yet. Until now, the prevailing knowlege among the non physicist population, is a nuke is a complicated device to construct. Ukranian forces just dispelled that myth. Every would be bomb maker in the world, now knows that if they can get their hands on fissible material, they can construct a workable nuke.
Things just changed.

Yeah, no.Didn’t say it was. The Ukrainian forces caused hydrogen gas to implode inside of a metal container. While not technically a nuke because fissile material was not involved. The concept was similar. Somebody with the knowledge will study this very closely, and will at some point start experimenting with different configurations to see what works.

The Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle has hardly been an international sales success, thanks to poor hydrogen infrastructure, expense, and polarizing design, but it proved successful to Ukrainian forces which scavenged parts from the hydrogen car to create the world’s smallest hydrogen bomb.

H2 gas is neither fissible or fusible, it is merely FLAMMABLE.This hasn't fully sunk in yet. That wasn't a nuke of any kind. This hasn't fully sunk in yet. Until now, the prevailing knowlege among the non physicist population, is a nuke is a complicated device to construct. Deuterium? What's that?H2 gas is neither fissible or fusible, it is merely FLAMMABLE.
Hydrogen fuel cell becoming a nuke is a myth. This hasn't fully sunk in yet. Until now, the prevailing knowlege among the non physicist population, is a nuke is a complicated device to construct. Deuterium? What's that?
This has to be OP's stupidest thread ever.
I was agreeing in my usual way.I was wrong, I meant to simply say that Hydrogen GAS is flammable, not Deuterium.
People learn some elementary school physics and chemistry before posting shit. The electrolytic process that occurs in hydrogen fuel cell vehicles cannot produce a reaction that is anything like a nuke.
I’d be dauntless too if i caught a whiff of that SBD.Yup, but I would argue that Hydrogen gas probably makes a bigger kaboom than methane (fart gas) but I am not 100% sure.
Nothing changed actually. This hasn't fully sunk in yet. Until now, the prevailing knowlege among the non physicist population, is a nuke is a complicated device to construct.
