Tourism to the USA. Let's follow with FACTS.

Can you not read and understand the charts?

They cover approximately 16 months, all showing a year over year decline in tourism to the US for 2025 compared to 2024 in the same months

There is no realistic way for this to happen I'm afraid. The structure and partisanship of American politics means he is untouchable for the next 4 years.
If my understanding is right - the only thing that could happen would be the Republicans losing control of the two houses so that someone stands up to Trump.

I'm very certain the American oligarchs and billionaires who are part of Trump's circle will not suffer.

Apparently, so. And yet, most of us remain quite hospitable to the prospect of hosting international visitors. Ya gotta visit The Alamo at least once.

Particularly interesting on the graph are Norway, Sweden, and the UK. Visits from Germany and Austria might have already slowed due to economic factors, but tourism from NOR, SWE, and UK were holding up until Orange Man came to town.

I hesitate to apply a term that even implies economics to the chaotic disorganized ****ery they are trying.

I am currently convinced that Trump just insisted on tariffs, and they all went along with it like good little ass kissers, even though it was quite possibly the most economically harmful decision since Smoot-Hawley.

That, at least, had some thought behind it.
